I know some - Intelligent people- who used to post to FR. They just don’t like DJT. Hate his tweeting. May vote 3rd party or just not vote. His obnoxious behavior makes it hard to defend him, even though his policies are good is all I could get out of them.

I don’t think his behavior is obnoxious; it’s amusing (to me). He acts and speaks like normal people. Must be a lot of people with sticks up their ... you know. Some people need to lighten up.
You say they are “intelligent people” but they are not smart people (there is a difference).
Smart people don’t vote against their own best interests or those of their own nation. Trumps policy successes have had a real and measurable effect on the everyday lives of these people while his tweets have had none.
You need to have a talk with your “intelligent” friends and tell them to be smarter.

Some of his tweets are distasteful and outweigh the tremendous amount of good he has done for millions of people.
And he often speaks plainly - like a guy who gets his hands dirty at work - a plumber, a welder or a farmer perhaps.
So drop Trump, and wait for perfect, flawless candidates.
Could Joe Biden and Kamala Harris be the perfect candidates these intelligent people are waiting for?
Not voting for president Trump is effectively a vote for Biden/Harris.

I don’t think Trump is obnoxious at all, GEEZE are you some sort of a snowflake or what!!!Trump is no different than any other everyday Joe he will NEVER pretend to be some elite snob!! He doesn’t need to USE his position to gain wealth he had wealth BEFORE entering government!! He doesn’t give a damn about lobbyists OR donors if you can’t defend THAT alone something is wrong with you!!
Of those I know that said Trump’s tweeting used to bother people - they no longer feel that way. They finally see just how disrespectful and dishonest the msm is, and how it has taken his approach to get thru.
Yea, the whole ‘Trumps tweets are annoying’ conversation has made a 180 about a year ago. This view is especially so among the #walkaway ‘ers which is a hot movement.
