Citing a need to renew focus on her children, White House advisor Kellyanne Conway has announced her departure from the administration:
STATEMENT: The past four years have allowed me blessings beyond compare as a part of history on Election Night 2016 and as Senior Counselor to the President. It’s been heady. It’s been humbling.
I am deeply grateful to the President for this honor, and to the First Lady, the Vice President and Mrs. Pence, my colleagues in the White House and the Administration, and the countless people who supported me and my work. As many convention speakers will demonstrate this week, President Trump’s leadership has had a measurable, positive impact on the peace and prosperity of the nation, and on millions of Americans who feel forgotten no more.
The incredible men, women and children we’ve met along the way have reaffirmed my later-in-life experience that public service can be meaningful and consequential. For all of its political differences and cultural cleavages, this is a beautiful country filled with amazing people. The promise of America belongs to us all.
I will be transitioning from the White House at the end of this month. George is also making changes. We disagree about plenty but we are united on what matters most: the kids. Our four children are teens and ‘tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months. As millions of parents nationwide know, kids “doing school from home” requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times.
This is completely my choice and my voice. In time, I will announce future plans. For now, and for my beloved children, it will be less drama, more mama.
With that being said, husband George has resigned his position with the anti-Trump organization he was aligned with also.
I think they both realize their their daughter is calling out for help and that they need to put their political differences and careers aside and give her the help she needs......
There are more than political differences going on here. The fat slob is a real POS and the issues go beyond politics.

Her husband is stepping away from the Lincoln Project too. Assuming he keeps his mouth shut then it does look like they’re trying to save their kids and their marriage.

Also, terrible timing. The media is happily making this a major story and stepping on coverage for the GOP convention.
She apparently is a class act. Many other high performing women would have walked away from her marriage and let the kids figure it out. I wish her well in her time out for the family.

The lincoln project didn’t lose much, and Trump does a great job of replacing great people with great people. Like his Press Secretary position.

Why bother? Her nasty 15 year-old is a lost cause.
Maybe she’s worried the other kids will go the same way.
Probably because she was a career first woman who had the obligatory child and then went back to her career and left the child rearing to others. That seldom turns out well. We have a generation and a half of those kids now burning downing cities across America. One of the parents has to be responsible and raise the kids. Historically that was the mother. Too often over the last couple of decades it’s been TV, daycare and government schools. Kellyanne’s daughter is what you get.
She will be missed, but the family needs to be fixed. Hope they can help the daughter...
Her daughter must be happy now.
Why so many women won’t leave a bad situation is beyond my understanding. She does not need that cuckold pigman for any apparent reason.
She is the player.
