Former Vice President Joe Biden said in an exclusive interview with ABC "World News Tonight" Anchor David Muir on Friday that as president, he would shut the country down to stop the spread of COVID-19 if the move was recommended to him by scientists.

Remember this election is a referendum on Trump and whether there is a legitimate alternative to him.
President trump needs to take credit for economically preparing the nation for the pandemic allowing us to absorb it and rebound quickly, and still in better shape than BamaBiden. No apologetic message on this front.
Second it is time to move from sleepy Joe since Biden successfully demonstrated to his audience he has enough command to perform at least for a few minutes. Secondly it puts him in a sympathetic light or a feeling of awe poor guy.
The Trump team needs to target the explosiveness, the anger, and how unlikable Biden is. General likability is why trump is not 15 points ahead.
At this point focus needs to be brought about on Biden’s explosive temper and his authoritarianism.
People need to be shown he is a ticking time bomb wanting to get his hand on the nuclear trigger and will force him self and his troops of chaos on the American people.
What I saw during his speech was a man with severe emotional and mental issues with bouts of anger and open to the use of force to get his way.
Sleepy Joe did not scare me but ticking time bomb Joe does.
Of course he would because he doesn’t give a damn about the country.

Totally agree. I assume Trump will trigger Bidens insane fury if Biden is stupid enough to debate Trump. When Biden loses his cool he says incredibly stupid things like mentioning cocaine with that black interviewer. There’s going to be a lot of “Come on man” if they debate.

Listen to the scientists, sure. But they are only one piece of the nation's puzzle.
The goal of the shutdowns was to hurt Trump, if Biden wins there will be no need.

I would argue Trump did the first 15 days of (recommended only) shutdown to slow the spread. I have the postcard I was mailed to confirm for posterity. Every day after that is on the governors.
Joe went to law school. I know he was 71 out of 80 something, but he must understand case law. He CAN’T shut down the entire country. He doesn’t have that authority. Trump didn’t have it either—outside of interstate traffic.
I wish someone would point this out.
