Are Hispanic Americans Warming Up to Trump?

Data from the American Values Atlas (AVA) shows that throughout 2019, on average, 28% of Hispanic Americans viewed Trump favorably, compared to 41% of all Americans. In 2020 so far, more than one-third (36%) of Hispanic Americans view Trump favorably, a significant increase from 2019.

"I support legal immigrants from all over the world. But those here illegally steal jobs from legal residents and put them at risk of being victims of crime.I'll bring back the historically low unemployment rate we saw before the Chinese virus,and Rat Party Governors,destroyed the economy".

Yes, and it’s not that new. Hispanics inhabit all income strata now, and there are a lot of middle and upper middle class Hispanics.

They are very capitalistic and intensely dislike illegals.

I live in Mexico, breath in Mexico, have my ear to the ground in Mexico and post from Mexico. Most Mexicans who have a sense of knowledge and sometimes try to see the bigger picture, say that the news feeds in Mexico have shifted, before with Jorge Ramos they were furious, angry, and hostile. Today I know of my close friends who have joined groups on social media, MEXICANS FOR TRUMP. The wind has changed. Mexicans and Guatemalans know they have been HAD. All the news that has been available before was CNN in Spanish. This is changing, thanks to internet browsers, and people with cell phones and microphones.

Trump needs to underscore, and point out, that they had a felon who pinched testicles with pliers speak, but not a Hispanic leader from San Antonio. That ought to be a message repeated in Texas.. and especially in San Antonio.

Interesting. I saw that first hand yesterday while on a job in the scorching hot (temp) oil patch. My contract workers one with a backhoe and the other a laborer were both Hispanics (with the laborer speaking Spanish). When taking a short break from the heat I said I feel as old as Biden. The backhoe operator piped up and said “I hope you’re not going to vote for him.” After a bit more talk we agreed how bad it would be for companies like his, which provides contract oil field services, if the Dems take power with a goal of shutting down the oil patch. This is what our current radical Dem governor wants to do to combat “climate change” (though it provides 39% of state government revenue).

I believe there are a lot like him that know their work and future are dependent on maintaining a free economy.

In Albuquerque, last fall, a Hispanic woman was shot dead in her own driveway. The local just announced in the last week a group of several illegals were entangled in the crime. The news actually stated they were illegal immigrants. Not undocumented. They talked about how the peeps and several who helped him had been deported several times, only to come right back.

The perp, and many who helped him to get away or hide. A young female relative of the woman was being interviewed on the local news talking about the crime. She was wearing a pro-Trump t-shirt during the interview. Lots of Spanish/Mexican/Hispanics are pro-Trump in my area. I just don’t know if there are enough to counter the dims this fall.

The Spanish language media in this country is so biased that they make the English language media seem conservative by comparison . We need to find a Hispanic Rush to offset them.
