Joe Biden’s acceptance speech drew the highest TV viewership of the week of convention coverage.
The convention drew an average 21.8 million viewers across six networks during the 10 PM ET to 11:15 ET time frame. That’s a slight uptick from the previous night, but still off about 21% from the Democratic convention finale in 2016.

These numbers are pathetic!!
Not much else of interest right now. Limited sports. Limited new movies and TV shows. Captive audience. Liberals looking at their chance to remove Trump. Conservatives wanting to see the train wreck. All that, and viewership down 21% compared to Hillary in 2016. I guess the anti-Trump sentiment only has so much reach with Americans.
But Democrats don’t need enthusiasm, they know what they must do or else.
I don’t like Trump, but the the hatred for him is so rediculously over the top that I don’t buy it. This gives me memories of the GOP fielding McCain and I don’t mean that in a good way.
Shows a lack of motivation and their support is not as great this time around. WalkAway is hurting them.
Don’t ya just love how they spin the very low viewership in the best possible way? For example, they combine the average across six networks to pump up the viewers (not households) to plus 21 million, but divide 21 by 6 and you get a paltry 3.5 mill watching each network (yes, it’s not evenly split like that, but you get the point). Even if you add a few mil from other viewable outlets, that is still negligible in a country of about 330 mil.

The only memorable moment I got from his speech was when he cited the events three years ago in Charlottesville in order to illustrate how evil white supremacists can be. However, not one word in condemnation of the lawlessness and mayhem occurring right now in Portland, Seattle, Chicago, and other Democrat dominated cities. Not a kind word for the police either, who have to endure the criminal behavior of his radical supporters.

I see this in other examples like with my BH who makes statements like: “I Love such and such!” .. usually some actor or actress!
The point is, most people who make these statements have no idea as to who these people really are!
My BH “loved” Lori Loughlin until she found out she was just another Hollywood elitist.

It makes more sense when you say .. “I don’t like the way Trump says things!” or .. “I don’t like this or I don’t like that about Trump!” etc. etc.
I am of the mind that I weigh Trumps positive and conservative accomplishments against his ‘crudeness’ at various times but .. I am Very Thankful that he is the President!
Again, I don’t mean for this to be an attack against you .. I just wish to understand Why people have a need to ‘dislike’ someone they don’t even know?

President trump needs to take credit for economically preparing the nation for the pandemic allowing us to absorb it and rebound quickly, and still in better shape than BamaBiden. No apologetic message on this front.
Second it is time to move from sleepy Joe since Biden successfully demonstrated to his audience he has enough command to perform at least for a few minutes. Secondly it puts him in a sympathetic light or a feeling of awe poor guy.
The Trump team needs to target the explosiveness, the anger, and how unlikable Biden is. General likability is why trump is not 15 points ahead.
At this point focus needs to be brought about on Biden’s explosive temper and his authoritarianism.
People need to be shown he is a ticking time bomb wanting to get his hand on the nuclear trigger and will force him self and his troops of chaos on the American people.
What I saw during his speech was a man with severe emotional and mental issues with bouts of anger and open to the use of force to get his way.
Sleepy Joe did not scare me but ticking time bomb Joe does.
I don’t agree with his mannerisms, but he’s literally way better than his alternativeson in terms of what we can expect from him.
