CNN, RINOs, Fearpers and other pussies do not understand the difference between cancel culture and hitting back. Trump hit back. He’s a fighter, unlike 99% of Republican politicians.

Good Year has made some very good tires and some horrendously bad tires over the years. Trouble is, you don’t know which is which until it’s too late. As a result, I have not purchased a GY product in decades.

Wonder if NASCAR had anything to do with this act of corporate hari kari?

its more about the idea of calling them out than it is about stopping all business with them

In fact, its more about sending a message to thousands of companies out there to not cave to left wing demands or discriminate against conservative ideas, than it is about goodyear

in a couple of days Trump will probably be promoting business with Goodyear again once the company gets its act together

Another idiot who does not understand what ‘cancel culture’ means and misuses the term.

The left does the same with the term ‘triggered.’

It’s good that CNN is advertising Trump’s boycott. I’m joining. I’ll bet that Goodyear soon caves, but it’s too late.

Just like the boycotting of the NFL, Target, Chick Fil-A, and the Red Hen Restaurant. Oh wait, they are all still in business and bounced back.

The tire shop I have used for years for my business and personal vehicles is a Goodyear shop. I know both the owners. I

Same here. Goodyear on all my vehicles, not to mention I use them for all my maintenance.

I feel bad for all the owner/operators running Goodyear stores. They didn't ask to be a part of this sh*tshow.

Some assclown in Akron bought into the "silence = violence" mantra that says political neutrality is not allowed and decided Goodyear needed to be woke and now a lot of good people who just wanted to sell tires are paying the price.

If boycotts don’t work, why is corporate America so terrified of them...?

Lip service. They almost always side with the groups who will do the most physical harm.

Goodyear did make a statement yesterday, which included:

“First, the visual in question was not created or distributed by Goodyear corporate, nor was it part of a diversity training class. To be clear on our longstanding corporate policy, Goodyear has zero tolerance for any forms of harassment or discrimination. To enable a work environment free of those, we ask that associates refrain from workplace expressions in support of political campaigning for any candidate or political party, as well as similar forms of advocacy that fall outside the scope of racial justice and equity issues.”

They start out this paragraph leading one to think that the image was not sanctioned by corporate because it did not originate in corporate HQ. But go to the last sentence .... .... employees are to refrain from political expression “that fall outside the scope of racial justice and equity issues”. Hence, they endorse the message b/c they apparently believe that blm and homo-support are inside the scope of racial justice and equity.

Let me assure you, this is going on in many large corporations. Civil rights is dead, they are now openly engaging in racial politics well beyond the limits of affirmative action.

It seems that BLM’s straight-up declarations of being Marxist have not reached Akron OH for them to classify the group as “racial justice”.

Once you get them you can say you’re not satisfied with them and return them for a refund.

The nfl has been struggling and changed their rules to not allow kneeling during the anthem, which saved it. The nba and mlb are dying since they started, due to their support of burnlootmurder.

Chick Fil-A was from the left and our buycott overwhelmed their pathetic “boycott.”

Red Hen is a single restaraunt and by definition cannot really be hurt by any national movement.

And you left out where Conserative outrage got whoopie ousted as a spokeshole for WW.

“...in a couple of days Trump will probably be promoting business with Goodyear again once the company gets its act together.”

I doubt Goodyear will get its act together. If you look at their corporate response, they are standing behind the message while denying that corporate HQ stood behind it. Like many multinational companies, they have HR policies that favor certain races over the other, contrary to the law. But they have been emboldened and pushed by the federal government to do this, and social media is being used to keep them in line. The HR departments have been taken over by the left.

The tweet came in response to an employee who posted a photo, obtained
by CNN affiliate WIBW, from a Topeka, Kansas, Goodyear plant that showed
a slide during a training that "Black Lives Matter" and LBGT pride apparel
were "acceptable" and "Blue Lives Matter," "All Lives Matter," "MAGA
Attire,"and other political material were "unacceptable."

Dang, I wish I could jump in on this, but I have a secret as well.

My wife and I drive a LOT of miles every years. A long time ago I discovered a brand of tires that gave me the best mileage and wear life, hands down, over any other brand - Michelins. I get so much grief from my buddies about “you still buying them damm frog tires.” I've had them mounted backwards trying to hide my shame but now they have the name on both sides. Sure hope they don't have this crazy kind of BS as well, but they probably do.

I wonder if police departments around the country will be banning the use of Goodyears on their vehicles. Seems like a dumb idea to piss off a lucrative source of customers.
