(CNN)President Donald Trump is calling on his followers to not buy Goodyear tires and threatening to remove them from his custom presidential limousine, despite previously railing against "cancel culture," after an employee posted a viral photo of a company policy banning "Make America Great Again" and other political attire in the workplace.
"Don't buy GOODYEAR TIRES - They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less! (This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!)," he tweeted Wednesday morning.

What these assholes don’t get is that if Goodyear had not singled out conservatives, police and the President as no go we wouldn’t have necessarily cared if they promoted their marxist and sodomistic crap but they chose to ban us. Cancel culture is the least we can do to them.
It’s good that CNN is advertising Trump’s boycott. I’m joining. I’ll bet that Goodyear soon caves, but it’s too late.
I’m familiar with policies at a few companies.
They all have the same policy: Nothing political on company property. Period.

The automakers that equip their vehicles with Goodyer tires as OEM need to be placed on the record. Do they support what Goodyear is doing and if not, will they start using another make of tire?

I just ordered new Goodyear tires Tuesday, and there’s a 100 deposit I forfeit if I cancel the order.

This is an easy decision for me. I haven’t bought a Goodyear in at least thirty years. Actually, I buy only Michelin tires for my cars and trucks. Haven’t had a bad experience yet. When I buy a new vehicle that has Goodyear’s I replace with Michelin’s shortly thereafter.
I’ve been wondering if Goodyear’s tie-in with college football is involved...
Of course when local news covered this story and the Goodyear responses they left out what the approved political attire was. Infuriating. If you ban political attire in the work place due to divisiveness then ban ALL political attire.
The tire shop I have used for years for my business and personal vehicles is a Goodyear shop. I know both the owners. I believe I will stop in today and let them know what I think. Hopefully the negative feedback will get to the tards at Goodyear and they will figure it out.
