Still, it came off strangely sounding like she was nominating Sanders.

That's what Ari Fleischer thinks.

She mangled her grammar and seconded the nomination of Biden made by Sanders, not seconded Sanders himself for the nomination.

Considering her suggestion the other day about bolstering the post office revenues, I wouldn’t put any ditzy, ignorant error past her microbe brain.

It would be funny if the “legalese” in the minutes actually DID nominate Bernie Sanders for the position.

“I second.”
“No other nominations?”
“No other nominations being heard, I move the nominations be closed.”
“I second”
“Nominations are closed.”
