A man who beat, raped and murdered two moms as their young children listened to their screams in a Westchester County home invasion is about to be freed by the state parole board.
Samuel Ayala — part of a trio of fiends convicted in the horrific crime against Bonnie Minter and her friend Sheila Watson during a play date in Watson’s South Salem home in 1977 — is set to be released as early as Sept. 3, according to the board and Minter’s now-adult son Jason on Facebook on Monday.
“Six years ago, when the board asked Ayala if he hadn’t run out of bullets, would he have killed the four young children present so that there were indeed no witnesses, he did not answer,’’ said Jason Minter — who was just 6 years old as he, his little sister and Watson’s young son and daughter heard their mothers’ cries for help from another room.
“His silence said it all.’’
Jason, 50, added to The Post on Monday, “Our only solace was the fact that Ayala remained behind bars. Now we’re completely discomforted, nervous and concerned.
“I’m concerned for the life of my family. I have an 11-year-old daughter, and I fear he might seek retribution. He’s a sociopath.”
Minter and his sister Maggie had previously successfully fought every two years to keep the “mastermind’’ Ayala, now nearly 70, behind bars since he became eligible for parole in 2002.

Usually in New York, in New York just for murdering two people, you are out of prison in under 10 minutes. With two minutes in change. Continue voting Democrat. Soon, very soon murder victims will be sentenced to many centuries in prison because their screams injured the murder’s ears. While the murder walks free as Hillary Clinton. Just continue to elect those of the caliber of your Governor and the caliber of Your beloved Mayor of New York City and it won’t take long to bring this about.

Dems and liberals are the reason I support the death penalty..I wouldn’t have a problem if life in prison meant just that... It doesn’t...I’m surprised he actually served 43 years...
This parole board reminds me of something taught me from one of the dearest preachers of the Gospel I have ever known. He always reminded us to pray for our leaders, for those in positions of power or influence.
Pray for God to move their hearts to His will even if they are ignorant, pious fools that trip on their own worldly logic.

When I was growing up down South they kept murderers like this guy in prison to protect the murderer. Some murderers were found “not guilty” by a jury and soon after disappeared.
I’m not going to read any more of these types of articles - no use getting POed over something I have no control over. I just don’t care any more. Come back to me when this guy is executed, either by the state or a vigilante.
I’ll be dead and long gone when the state takes care of this creature, so I’m hoping someone steps up to the bar and speeds things up.

Amazing... How does the parole board organized in NY? Do they take an IQ test and if their IQ is over 20, they don’t get on the board?
