Wisconsins state government is forcing government employees to wear masks while at home alone during Zoom meetings.
Yes, you read that correctly Even if you are in your own home. Even if you are in your own home alone (not that that should matter), the fascist Democrats who now run the Wisconsin state government are forcing employees to wear masks during online meetings:
In an email to employees sent out on July 31, the head of Wisconsins Department of Natural Resources not only reminded employees of Gov. Tony Evers mask order going into effect on Aug. 1, he also said that every DNR employee must wear a mask even while on a teleconference.
Also, wear your mask, even if you are home, to participate in a virtual meeting that involves being seen such as on Zoom or another video-conferencing platform by non-DNR staff, Preston Cole said, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Set the safety example which shows you as a DNR public service employee care about the safety and health of others.
Even though wearing a mask at home does absolutely nothing to protect or improve anyones safety, the State is still forcing people to wear them for one reason and one reason only
Because it can.

sad thing is people are so stupid they will do it
While that is true, there are a hundred ways they can drive an employee to quit. I imagine also that they would use subtle threats to discourage any blow back. The employee could win in court and still have his life ruined. There is no limit to how dirty these people will play.
Dont turn on the video. Thats just as effective as a mask. The virus cant travel through cyberspace unless you turn on the video.
Thats science.
Oooh.
Evil.
I like.
My god, parts of our society have lost their minds.
That thought has occurred to me and is a major reason why I am hesitant.
A tale of two workplaces:
I worked for a private banking company for a number of years. Our team of 20 always had three or so of us sending something to the one and only printer at the same time.
The printer printed out whatever was sent in the order it was sent, which often resulted in a page of my stuff printing, then a page of Lynn’s, then a page of Lauryn’s, then a page of mine again, then a page of Lynn’s, etc.
Often the pages were from the same document. So it would print my page 1, then Lynn’s page 4, then my page 2, Lauryn’s page 7, Lynn’s page 3, and so on.
So we had to spend all this time checking the pages of our documents and asking, “Who printed what looks like an invoice for x?” “Who printed something for an Ann Smith?” etc. Then we had to collate our documents once we got all our pages.
Then I went to work in a government office.
The first time I had to print, the secretary tells me, “Okay, take your badge, swipe it.” A screen pops up. She configures it for me to log me in for the first time.
“Okay swipe again.”
The list of my documents sent to print pop up. I hit print.
They print in the exact order I needed. No one else’s pages were in the mix.
I was one for about a decade.
Me and a handful of others actually did some work while others read the newspaper and looked at ESPN all day.
A few of us left for greener pastures.
I wear a mask during sex with my wife...... it took a while to find a ribbed mask.....
Elections have consequences.
Think maybe a few of these Gomers will figure that out before November?
NAH!
Good grief. I haven’t heard the doctors or media mention: WASH YOUR HANDS in months. That phrase use to be THE action to prevent getting COVID 19.
And I just found out that England mandates masks only in shops and supermarkets. Watch YouTube showing streets of London. NO masks worn.
There are a lot of people who will buy into any absurdity you can come up with.
Specifically people wearing masks while driving alone, wearing a mask by your self out in the woods or in a kayak in the middle of a lake.
Or voting democrat.
That’s when I call in.
just put the mask over your camera. problem solved

[ “Mrs. B.J. Smegma....has learned the importance of not being seen...” ]
That’s a favorite of mine.
Ditto. I might not be healthy as an ox, but maybe a wildebeest. The thin paper mask will do nothing for me. It might stop a few droplets when I speak to people. I don't mind wearing one for other people even if it does nothing. I had a box given to me, so I switch them out every week or so.
It was a wonderful way to raise a family of human beings and we have a very satisfying older life. It’s a shame you seem so grim.
My late Father worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for most of 40 years. He did it proudly and honorably from 1957 building dams, roads, bridges, parks and canals. It was a different time and different organization than the one it became. I saw the direction things were going starting with the Carter then Clintoon administration just before he retired. Fate would have it that when I was ready to go to work the door was closed to my lifelong ambition to follow in his foot steps.
Years later, after plowing new ground of my own in the oil business we talked about those times from the 70s and how I had to take a different direction. We agreed that God looks after us and things usually work out the way they were intended to.
So happy I didn’t work for the gooberment. The best most of my classmates did working for the Corps was to build a lake access road or two, restore wetlands, dredge some chanels and enforce the reprehensible Waters of the U.S. laws. I’d rather have shoveled chicken crap with a spoon. Instead I got to see the world, had a heck of a lot of fun, learned a lot, taught a lot of people what I knew and invented and built a lot of new things, participated in pushing deep water frontiers from 1,500 feet water depths to 10,000 feet all while exploring inner earth drilling wells to nearly 30,000 feet while making a good living. It was good to be that free before that industry too got eaten alive by PC and social engineering.
Gooberment work and workers have a place but is not for me. A gooberment employee was at a meeting with us one day. It came time for a break and I offered him coffee and a pastry. “No thank you.” I offered a soda and told him we could get him what he would like. “No thank you.” Water? Would you like a bottle of water? “We aren’t allowed to accept anything from any company we regulate. Can you tell me where the vending machines are so I can go there?” All I could do was to feel sorry for him to prostitute himself for a job working in a place where someone thinks he can be bought for a bottle of water. Or work in a place where you can be disciplined or even lose your job for not wearing a mask, at home on a video conference?. That is just not human. Pitiful.
