Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday claimed victory in the global race to find a coronavirus vaccine, and said his own daughter had been inoculated with the drug.
Russian authorities have approved, and are to begin mass-producing the substance — named Sputnik V after the iconic Russian satellite — developed by the Gamaleya Institute in Moscow, Russian state news agency TASS reported.
It will be made available first Russia's frontline public-service workers, such as medics and teachers, before being released to the general public, said Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko. Medics could have access to it as early as late August or early September, according to the agency.

After months of insisting on the necessity for a vaccine, and after Trump fas-tracked vaccine research, and now that several promising vaccines are on the horizon, Fauci is suddenly warning against vaccines, questioning their efficacy, and even suggesting they could be dangerous. With his tendency to constantly move the goalposts, Fauci is showing himself to be a man of the left.
I think you might have stumbled upon a genius plan for finally ending this thing. I’m still laughing, because if anyone actually tried it people would get the reassurance they’re seeking, and the results probably wouldn’t be much different.

He doesn’t have any money invested in the Russian vaccine, so of course he’s got to downplay it.
I wonder.....why is the vaccine a race? If it is so important to hummanity, why does it matter who is first? It is for the good of mankind..... Fauci is acting like it is a money maker or something.
