Looting is Reparations-BLM organizer claims anything they wanted to take they can-businesses insured

Black Lives Matter Chicago said early Monday's looting of stores was a form of 'reparations' as the group held a protest Monday night in support of the more than 100 people arrested after an evening of violence. Ariel Atkins, a BLM organizer, called the looting reparations.

'I don’t care if someone decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy’s or a Nike store, because that makes sure that person eats,' Atkins said. 'That makes sure that person has clothes. 'Anything they wanted to take, they can take it because these businesses have insurance.'

Downtown Chicago was otherwise quiet after authorities cut off access, with drawbridges leading into the city pulled up and freeway exits blocked after riots sparked by a false rumor of a child shot by police. At least 13 police officers were injured as the violence claimed an estimated $65 million in property damage.

Idiot...just an idiot.

Businesses won’t be insured long if this keeps up. Many will close their doors forever as insurers begin to refuse to insure them due to the behavior of the looters.

Not everything gets covered either ...much is simply taken as a loss ...

gah!! I hate idiots like this that have no idea how to operate a business.

It’s a ‘rider’ policy. Some insurers require it depending on the area.

What will happen is there will be a refusal to insure in certain areas. Businesses pull out of areas when shrinkage exceeds about 10%.

BLM needs to be RICOed as a criminal shakedown organization. If you are calling for theft, you are no longer in the protest business, you are the Mafia.

What I find astonishing (I KNOW I shouldn’t, but I do) is the number of people, neighbors, corporations, churches, politicians, who not only support Black Lives Matter, but give it money in addition to the asinine signs they put up in support.

(I envy you folks who don’t see these effing signs where you live)

How would these people, neighbors, corporations, churches, politicians react if their house, church, or business was broken into during broad daylight under the view of the police, and the people not only destructively ransacked the structure and defaced it to make it uninhabitable, but removed or destroyed out of spite every single thing of value?

WE know full well how they would respond, they would respond as Useful Idiots always do, with shock. “I am down with the struggle...I support them, give them money...why would they do this? Why didn’t the police protect me?”

I would take great joy in shrugging my shoulders and saying “Hey, you were on board with this...it is reparations. You have no recourse. Suck it up.”

I can barely stand to be around people now.

Shrinkage losses are tax deductible.

We do away with that, businesses might be far less inclined to kiss up to BLM.

Reparations now explains why the Dems have been looting the states and cities they are to manage.

“Even if insurance companies DID pay, it is tantamount to stealing from all of us because the insurance companies will pass the losses on to everybody who has insurance.”

They are too low IQ to know that.

I hve NEVER seen any company pay out ‘insurance’ for rioting & looting & arson. NEVER,

The Watts Rio9ts were in 1965. Building there are still NOT rebuilt. NO INSURANCE COMPANY will even insure the construction.

These idiots think everything they do is OK because ‘of Insurance’.

IF these “BLM LEADERS” think that everything they destroy is “INSURED”-—How come the Governor of Minnesota & the Mayor of Minneapolis is begging the Federal government to pay them to rebuild the losses in Minneapolis???

The lack of a simple education is certainly bubbling to the surface-—all across the USA.

Why would anyone be surprised. An entire generation or two have been given free stuff ranging from education to food to healthcare to phones and the list goes on and on. The gimmie culture is on steroids now.

The I support BLM signs in Georgetown didn't protect them from annoying BM protestors recently. It's BS, BLM is a Marxist organization, I am not down with it and neither should any other American

I live in the bluest of the blue states, and I have an hour drive into work and to run a daily gauntlet of dozens of those signs. I fully understand why conservatives from other parts of the country have utter contempt for denizens of these states, even though we do have conservatives who live here.

Heck, Jim Robinson lives in California, and California gives more money than any other state to FR, by far.

But the signs are a dead giveaway. Some are even hand drawn on cardboard with little hearts like a grade school girl would do. I drive through town commons, and there are high school age kids (mostly white girls with a smattering of a few guys who are losers or want to get laid, and some older women and a few older men who look like hippie holdovers from the sixties.

I have churches that have a banner...a 20 foot banner above the entrance way for Black Lives Matter. The teenage girls were doing a car wash a few weeks back for Black Lives Matter.

I spent all last week in a state to the north of me, way up in northern part of that state, and didn’t see any of that crap.

I wish I could move, but...my wife is not interested in moving, so I have to live in it. I hate it. Love the state, the history, the nature, the culture, but...the politics enrages me.

And the thing is, if the VAST majority of these useful idiots with their signs had their house broken into, robbed, vandalized, set on fire, or had protesters/rioters with bullhorns walk down their street at 0200, they would think there is something wrong with that. That would be a NORMAL way of looking at it.

I am going to have to find a way to make peace with myself on this kind of thing, because it does bother me.

I think very un-charitable and un-Christian thoughts on a daily basis, and I don’t like it. That isn’t good for anyone.
