This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (I John 5:14)

Lord God,

May our mouths speak Your praise and may all flesh bless Your Holy Name forever and ever. May all Your works praise You, Lord, and all Your saints bless You. You are good to all and Your tender mercies are over all You works. We extol You, our God and King, and bless Your Name forever and ever.

We are so blessed to live in America. Thank You, Father, for guiding this nation from its birth. Now, even as we walk in the midst of darkness, may Your hand be near that we may grasp ahold of You and find our way back to being the country You have called us to be. Help each of us to do our part by affecting our own sphere of influence in a way that helps others draw close to You. Lord, we ask You to help our nation repent of its sin. Help us to stop denying the sins that we are committing and to confront face to face everything that has drawn us away from You. Show us where we have set up idols and placed them above You. We are in great need of Your guidance, for we have departed from the path You have set before us. Show us how to come back to You, Lord---how to depart from evil and to pursue Your presence and peace.

Lord God, with each passing week of Donald Trump’s presidency, we see increased vitriol, more vicious attacks, insults, threats, and wicked schemes directed at him. We thank You for defending this man, Lord, and we confess that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We condemn every tongue that rises against him in judgment. Lord, help him to bring glory and honor unto You alone, and guide his every word and action. May Your wisdom flood his spirit and may he heed the call You have on his life. We confess that You give Your angels charge over him to keep him in all his ways. Help him always to be in the center of Your will.

May You raise up righteous indignation in Your people, Lord, so that every Christian will act upon their responsibility to vote in the November election. We cannot remain silent. We cannot turn over our nation to those who hate it. Help us, Lord, to be responsible citizens and to vote wisely.

Lord, You have shown us the signs that should follow us: casting out devils, speaking with new tongues, being instruments of healing for those in bondage of any kind. The assignment has been issued to us. Help us not to run from it, but embrace it! Help us to incline our hearts to You and to Your Word, that we may be examples of Your love and truth. We have a responsibility to be salt and light in these dark times. Enable us to answer the call, Lord God. In the powerful Name of Jesus Christ we ask these things. Amen.

As the Biden camp announces his VP running mate this week, I pray the LORD thwarts the Left’s every effort to weaponize the candidate’s gender and/or race against the Trump campaign. May content of character, and not color of skin carry the day.

Praying especially for a surge of diverse conservative individuals to front the Republican Party and speak on its behalf in ever increasing fervor as Election Day approaches! For a successful RNC convention!

Have mercy on us oh LORD, we pray that President Trump see his *second* term through to victorious completion.

O Lord, out of America's dark places stream sons of disobedience. They relentlessly assault President Trump and the men of good will who serve him. They assault the police and military. They surround the children of light on every side, mocking, jeering, speaking evil, tearing down foundations, desecrating churches, blaspheming Your Name, and elevating criminals, terrorists, and violent mobs above the peaceful and law abiding. Please O Heavenly Father! We cry out to You: in your Grace and Mercy please help us! Let not the evil triumph over the righteous! In the Wonderful Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we pray.
