Do they have a Shadchan (Matchmaker) that arranges the couples to meet and marry (lobbyists & reporters, etc.) so everyone can claim they can’t testify against one another when they get caught in their schemes?

Hard to say. Maybe in his next term Trump can build a coalition which is how great Presidents get things done. Thus far he’s been a CEO President with few friends.
As I’ve said many times - if Trump does nothing but sign EOs and nominate conservative judges his Presidency will have been a success.

You're kidding, right? Nobody in D.C. - not Trump or Pelosi or McCarthy or Schumer or McConnell - is willing to do anything across aisle.
That would be a good goal. Just concerned that in this political climate that it's no longer as easily accomplished. I thought President Reagan did a good job with this. And even President Clinton (always triangulating and playing off both sides against the other for his political power benefit).
