non-profit group says more than a half-million inaccurate applications for absentee ballots were mistakenly sent across Virginia this week -- including to dead voters, errant relatives and even a pet -- in an unprecedented mailing flub that has heightened concerns about the integrity of expanding mail-in voting efforts.
The mistakes raised alarms with recipients as diverse as election monitors, members of the League of Women Voters and a retired FBI agent. The Center for Voter Information, the nonprofit group that sent the mailers with pre-filled absentee ballots, is now apologizing.
The Center for Voter Information said the absentee application mailings were sent to “eligible voters” in the state and "some of the mailers may have directed the return envelopes" for the absentee applications to the wrong election offices.
Jonathan Shapiro, president and CEO of Smith-Edwards-Dunlap Company, the printing vendors for the Center for Voter Information, said the printing mistake "occurred because we incorrectly aligned a spreadsheet that matched the voter with their local election office."
The League of Women Voters said some of their members received mailings with incorrect names on the ballot applications inside.
“One person stated that a dead person received one and a pet received one,” said Deb Wake, president of the League of Women Voters in Virginia, according to WTOP.

This smells like big time election interference to me...
Why are the Chinese making so many fake U.S. driver’s licenses? That’s a disturbing little tidbit to discover, especially right before an election. According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the bulk of these fake U.S. IDs flooding into the country come from China and Hong Kong, with the rest coming in from South Korea and the U.K.
Officials in Chicago just confiscated a shipment of these fake IDs totaling nearly 20 thousand counterfeit cards. Of course, the local news media in Chicago doesn’t see a connection to “voter fraud,” but I do.
As a matter of fact, it’s the main thing I see with just three months before an election. What emboldens illegal voters more than to head to the polls with a phony ID in their pocket in case anyone asks for ID?
From Fox Five: Federal customs officers have seized 1,513 shipments from overseas containing fraudulent documents—19,888 counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses—just at Chicago O’Hare International Airport this year through the end of June. Most of the shipments came from Hong Kong and mainland China, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Other shipments came from South Korea and the U.K. “These counterfeit driver’s licenses can lead to disastrous consequences,” CBP’s Ralph Piccirilli said in a statement. “Criminal organizations use these counterfeit IDs to avoid attracting attention to their illegal activities.” […] “What is most disconcerting about these interceptions, besides the volume in which we are experiencing, is the ease in which so many young people freely share their personal information with counterfeiters abroad,” Lemaux said in a statement. “We’ll continue to collaborate with local law enforcement to educate the public, and anyone who is contemplating purchasing a counterfeit ID online, on the potential dangers of sharing your personal, identifiable information with a criminal element.”
I think that we need to really think outside of the box and be open to anything in terms of cheating or interference, because the desperate Democrats simply can’t lose this election, and they’ll work with anyone, anywhere to help squeak out a victory.
And I think China is the number one culprit we need to keep our eyes on.
Surprise, surprise — the leaders of the Center for Voter Participation are Clinton/Democrat campaign operatives.
the media/dem complex are pushing chaos wherever and whenever they can, mail-in balloting is only a part of their strategy, the riots being another part. What they are hoping for is that everyone will vote for Basementman thinking that if he’s elected everything will return to “normal” when in fact what we are seeing now is the new democrat normal, and if he’s elected things will get even worse. Basementman is only a pawn and puppet whose strings will be pulled by Sanders, Cortez, Omar, and a host of other far left radicals inclcuding Soros.
Coronavirus. People can’t meet in large groups. Vote by mail. Massive vote fraud. Democrats win. I finally met some Democrats who realize now none of this was an accident of nature, and their party has played a big hand in all of it. Maybe there is still hope for this country!
The only “honest” part here is the Democrats’ sending absentee ballots to dead people.
This is just the start of the Demonicrats’ traitorous election coup.
The Demonicrats will send out mail-in ballots all across the states, many of which already contain a vote for the Demonicrat presidential nominee.
If the mail-in ballots are rejected by some honest Election Boards, the Demonicrats will file lawsuits so that some Demonicrat activist judge will rule the mail-in votes must be counted.
The key electoral states are special targets. The Demonicrats will even bribe the residents of cemeteries in those states to vote a straight Demonicrat ticket.
If the Demonicrats can succeed in their election coup, there will be no more free elections in what used to be the United States of America.
I am ok with dead people participating in elections, provided they can only vote for other dead people.
Mail in voting and harvesting is the DNC ticket. Our side is doing a very poor job to fight any of it.
That is why the Democrats will win. Our side do not give a damn if the Democrats win. They will be rid of President Trump. In fact, TN just proudly did their part to help it along. Right now they don’t care if President Trump loses, but they will. But not for long. Dead people have no cares. Or maybe they have a lot of them. Who knows? OWK and he ain’t talking.

We need to all reregister as democrats. I know, it’s nauseating. It’s an op. Suck it up, Buttercup.
That way, the dems will send us each 10 or 12 ballots that are absolutely golden, guaranteed to be counted.
Even if they open them first and the op fails, we can still score another dozen ballots if we pretend not speak English.
How about the USPS be required to validate voter registration for every ballot it mails? Sure, it will slow things up a bit, but things are slow there anyway, what with sooo much less junk mail, due to Covid19.
