Mayor Bill de Blasio has dismissed rich New Yorkers who fled the city as 'fairweather friends' and said their taxes should be raised - days after Governor Cuomo begged the city's top 1 percent to return to prop up its ailing finances.
Swarms of wealthy residents fled New York when the city went into lockdown in March and became the coronavirus epicenter of the world.
Despite the city reopening and bringing the outbreak under control, New York has failed to lure back its richest residents with many upping sticks altogether for areas where they can enjoy lower rent and taxes.

And who in their right mind would return to a big city whose numbskull collection of commies and gays comprising the City Council passed a law in January which releases criminals without bail or jail, essentially making getting arrested a revolving door process? There have already been numerous repeat crimes due to this. You take this, the defunding of the police, the decay of the infrastructure, a mayor who spends money much better spent elsewhere on yellow paint to deface public streets with "BLM" graffiti, a governor who sends COVID infected people into nursing homes to infect the vulnerable elderly, a mayor who forbids Orthodox Jews to attend a funeral yet sanctions BLM/Antifa protesters to destroy and burn businesses, a mayor who actually locked, then WELDED shut the doors to a playground used by Orthodox Jewish children, a mayor who is incapable of deciding a school policy, a mayor who sneaked filthy homeless (including homeless sex offenders) into area hotels without informing local residents and the absolute certainty that there will soon be a raise in all taxes which will BITE like a rabid dog==>why would any rational person want to stay in such a place?
Hahahahaha...when commanding the rich people to return or else, DiBlasio just use what Nick Di Paolo uses to start his podcast with when asking for money to pay for it:
Give me the money! Give me the F**king money!"
Hahaha, then on the other hand, Cuomo is on his knees with his arms wrapped around the legs pleading for the rich people to come back!

NY released a radio ad that said “NY is proud of their dairy farmers” while simultaneously working overtime to drive dairy farms out of business through multiple avenues of chicanery and BS.

Yes, my wife doesn’t really get it either...she was talking about my nephew who lives/lived in Manhattan and left to live in his parents house in another state.
She thought property values had dropped enough where he could get something, and I said who in their right mind would live long term in that sh**hole? It is only a matter of time before it isn’t just Starbucks and Best Buy stores being smashed and looted there.
