Sometimes, really good people, are just not good at getting elected, for whatever reasons.
Dan Bongino is another of those people. He ran for office at least twice, but lost. C’est la vie (& ‘harvested votes!’)

Bongino almost defeated a Democrat incumbent in a strongly Democrat district.

Kobach lost the Kansas governor race. Trump carried Kansas by over 20 points.

You cannot compare Kobach to Bongino. Roy Moore is a better comparison.

Rats gerrymandered that seat in MD badly. He came closer than I thought he would in 2014, in fact he won and it was stolen.

If had *really* won though, he would not have survived 2016 when Hillary carried it easily.

A shame, we could have 3 seats in MD with good lines.
