Sometimes you have to recognize that in State wide races, a more moderate candidate is the only way to win. We need to move the State to the right gradually.

I agree! The saddest people are the DNC who were looking to pick up a seat in that State.

That is true, but the fact is that Dole was too old or at least appeared so. Biden is decrepit compared to him.

No doubt, but I don’t think he would win a Senate race. We need to keep that seat!

Would be nice if somebody summed this up for us, not everyone knows who these people are?

But why does campaigning even matter? No thinking person can possibly entertain voting for a democrat

Roger Marshall is the current congressman from the Kansas 1st congressional district. Kris Kobach is a perennial candidate in Kansas. He was defeated in a race for the 3rd congressional district, won two terms as Secretary of State, lost the race for governor in 2018 running against two Democrats, and now lost the nomination for Roberts’ senate seat. Kobach is an immigration hard-liner, has done some work for Trump that didn’t result in anything. The third candidate was Bob Hamilton, former plumbing company owner and the clown of the candidates. Winner faces Barbara Bollier, former Republican legislator and current Democrat nominee. She’s going to be a formidable candidate for all three, but with Marshall the candidate the seat leans Republican. Had Kobach won it would have been a toss-up. Had Hamilton won then Bollier would have been shopping for a place to stay when she’s in D.C.

I’ve already seen Marshall’s performance in the House. He’s not going to magically become a Conservative. If anything, he’ll be emboldened to move further to the left.

“People like me” did not complain about Roberts. I like Sen. Roberts. I had no problem with him. I wish he was staying rather than have Marshall succeed him. What you’re recalling are the misguided folks who were supporting the RINO pretending to be a Conservative back in 2014 who was challenging Roberts. Go back and review my posts and I blasted those folks wanting to take out Sen. Roberts.

The problem when you replace a Conservative like Roberts with a RINO squish like Marshall, you’re moving leftwards. The Demonrats are sending out armies of kamikazes for their cause, and we’re putting up pantywaists who are too scared to fight or will simply just accommodate these crazies.

We have an awful Senate race in my state (up on Thursday) between a “fighter” (Sethi) and a punk RINO who bamboozled the President into an endorsement. He has consistently refused to debate Sethi and runs ugly and false campaign ads and believes he should be coronated for the Senate. He’s too chicken to debate a Conservative and yet he thinks he’ll be able to stand up to the Demonrats in the Senate ?

We need fighters, and you don’t get fighters by putting up squishies.

I don’t believe Kobach would’ve lost the seat. This wasn’t like the Governor’s race. Kansas has a perverse attraction to having Demonrats sit in the Governorship, but they wouldn’t dare send one to the Senate.

Thank you. We hope folks see that Hagerty is no Trumper. Dr. Sethi doesn’t have a record, of course, so we’re taking him at his word he won’t be joining the Derp State.

Gilligan had won statewide before, this bitch Kelly is nothing special, she should not have won. 38% in Johnson county is just no good......

Gilligan carried rural counties that would never go rat now, the state is more polarized (like every other state). She actually Johnson county in 2002.

2002 was not uniformly a “Republican year”, sadly it certainly wasn’t the case in a lot of gubernatorial elections.

“John Doll”

I forgot about him, he won? Dammit. At least some other other State leg RINOs lost.

We need a national effort to get rid of TRAITOR state legislators.
