The citizens of Snohomish (rural, 20(?) miles nw of Seattle) protected the main street while armed a few weeks ago. The local sheriff praised their efforts.
He has since been demoted.
I’m surprised the folks of Snohomish aren’t protesting in front of the town council.
Chief Best needs to read up on the meaning of “by any means necessary.”
“The police chief reported that her heroic neighbors succeded in preventing violence.”
If the Democrat politicians refuse to enforce the rule of law, the police shouldn’t be constrained by their authority.
Goose, gander.
Sounds like a decent,courageous woman.No wonder the Maoists wanted to destroy her house.
Even in Seattle of year 2020, chivalry is not dead.
That was a nice show of support.
Carmen for mayor.
She looks so stressed lately.
I suggested a nice hot bath, scented candles, soft music and a full body massage.
I havent heard back...yet.
Will keep you posted.
Revolutionaries always turn on themselves. Once their enemies are gone, then they begin the purity purge.
Happens every time.
A residence of mine in Snohomish County was targeted
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How many residences does she have?
Those two council members the chief wrote letters to are probably the ones who gave the terrorists her home address to begin with.
Finally - the police chief speaks some truth.
A neighbor down the street is a Sheriff’s Deputy. My next door neighbor is an architect who happens to be a minority. I would go stand with either of them if they or their families were threatened. It isn’t about race, or occupation. They are friends and neighbors, period.
City Councilors are the ones needing “visitors”
“you must forcefully call for the end of these tactics”?
They are the folks that WANT the revolution to begin, comrade!
“I wanted to update you on recent events, particularly those that occurred late last night. A residence of mine in Snohomish County was targeted by a large group of aggressive protestors late last night, Best wrote in a letter to City Council President Lorena González and Public Safety Chair Lisa Herbold.
The police chief reported that her heroic neighbors succeded in preventing violence. My neighbors were concerned by such a large group, but they were successful in ensuring the crowd was not able to trespass or engage in other illegal behavior in the area, despite repeated attempts to do so, she wrote. “
Translation - “I, a black police chief, now have to depend on white vigilantes to protect my property because the city council and mayor forbid me and my police officers to do our jobs.”
they are rioters and anarchists
Seattle, for the past 4 years at least, has spent over $1 Billion a year on homeless and inequality. That’s $100K for every homeless man, woman and child - in the entire county. Every year.
So Seattle’s ‘community’ needs to explain to Seattle’s citizens where that funding went. (and buying new tents for homeless doesn’t count as ‘help’)
The Seattle protestors need to do some explaining, too:
1. Explain why they haven’t given up the murderers of 3 black youths in Chop, or the rapists, the abusers, the stabbers, and all the other criminals they are actively sheltering within their protest ranks.
2. Explain why they solicit $1,000 a Nite for ‘pizza’, and why they solicit donations on a daily basis to their Vemo and paypal accounts to ‘support our protesting and medical bills’ yet do no volunteer work in the ‘community’ they profess to support
3. Explain why, if they are concerned with local issues, they travel to Portland (and other cities btw) to riot, destroy property and antagonize and injure police, and, provide shelter for Portlanders (and those from other cities) to do the same in Seattle
Before this devolves into the new way of doing business by mob rule .....
They wont listen.
