Is there any place I can obtain hydroxcloroquine and a Zpack? My dr refuses to use it and i am fearful that I may fall ill and not be able to obtain it. Any ideas?
In Oregon, unless you are sick, guv has decided pharmacists cannot prescribe it...
How brave are you?
An idea I have, if I should be diagnosed with China virus and refused HQC at my doctor’s office, is to give them the request in writing, showing copies to my next of kin and a my lawyer. If asked why, I would explain that I am trying to set up wrongful death litigation if I die without HQC as a result of their refusal.
If I were already diagnosed with China virus, I wouldn’t have anything to lose. If you want the medicine “just in case,” and you try that tactic, you could lose your doctor.
I’m not recommending you do that, it’s just an idea I’m considering.
Never meant to insult. Please accept my sincerest apologies as I sit here reak-ing myself
Find another Dr that is in network with your Medicare supplement.

You can get Zinc off the shelf, which is part of that treatment.
HCQ is a zinc ionophore
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4182877/
meaning, it helps cells absorb zinc. It’s the zinc which actually helps your immune system fight off the virus.
HCQ is not the only zinc ionophore. Quercetin, a nutritional supplement available over the counter, also works, just not as well as HCQ.

Buy it out of pocket if its that important.

New Mexico, the pharmacy is instructed that no prescription for HCQ can be filled without a diagnosis report from the doctor showing the need for the drug. The diagnosis if in any way covid related and not lupus, RA or malaria are to be denied.
1 new doc.
2 get a zpac.
3 ask a nutritionist about how much zinc you can take before you run into a problem with taste and smell. look at coldeeze(sp) and the warnings it has on the box.
4 start taking massive doses of vitamin C. one of the newer cocktails for hospitalized covid is massive vc infusions. There is a link between infection and low VC levels. Its basically a no harm no foul, deal so just do it.
So strickley speaking hydro C is not the cure, its a way to make zinc pass threw the cell membrane. Zinc is a metal which holds an electrical charge and can release it to “germs” thus it seems to break the viral particles ability to replicate and likely kills the infected cell as well. VC is thought to help moderate the over active immune response that causes sepsis, and thus organ failure.
The lastest info coming out is that if you don’t get colds your likely immune to covid because of multiple past exposures to corona virus’ and your bodies existing defenses.
good luck

Don’t self prescribe medicine. It’s bad juju
Thank you. I will follow this up. The hydroclo...zpack... combo in hand would so ease my worries. I know I am overdoing...
Note what these Drs are saying...

Stay in your house for the next six to twelve months until the all clear sirens go off..........
Until then, have your local grocery store ship over a years supply of chicken soup and toilet paper............
it is to have in hand because I won’t be able to get it. Like an epi pen
Look for a Canadian pharmacy and buy generic. Should be able to do it online.
Go to a doc in the box clinic.
On March 21, the New Mexico Boards of Pharmacy and Nursing, and New Mexico Medical Board issued a joint letter to prescribers and pharmacists about reports of inappropriate prescribing of hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine, and others that are being investigated for potential use in treating and preventing COVID-19. The Boards note that inappropriate prescribing is creating shortages and access issues for people with lupus and other serious medical conditions.
N.M pharmacy board
The Board reaffirms that prescribers should be exercising good professional judgment and adhering to evidence-based standards when prescribing. When a patient was not previously established prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the prescription should include a written diagnosis.
Finally, the Boards note that they do not intend to take action against pharmacists that decline to fill questionable prescriptions, or limit the supply for acute conditions (which would not seem to include lupus).
