Durham’s investigation, which Democrats fear could amount to an “October surprise,” is expected to produce a report by the end of the summer, according to the Justice Department.
Impossible. We’ve been lead to believe for over a year that Durham was a prosecutor and they issue indictments not reports.
Is the DOJ dropping case some sort of sting on federal courts?
Durham's investigation, which Democrats greatly deserve,"
Yeah. Okay.
Durham = Huber = Great Pumpkin. All are expected by the end of October.
Yes, indict that low-life Andrew Weissman for fraud in. the Flynn and Stone cases!
Hi.
“is expected to produce a report by the end of the summer, according to the Justice Department”
No report, indictments. If not, let the “games” begin.

The Federal Courts couldn’t give a damn about any evidence, Obama made a call, and Flynn is to be destroyed.
Ever see the TV show Designated Survivor? One of the plot lines involves actual spying by a moderate Presidential candidate on his more conservative rival. The show started after 2016. Now, is this plot line a total coincidence? Who knows.
“Protrated legal fight” Yeah, fight, like World Federation Wrestling.
The appeals court could just tell Sullivan what’s what.
Here’s an idea sketch. Likely won’t happen but boy would it be a beauty to behold:
The DOJ dropped all charges against General Flynn. The DOJ was/is the sole prosecutor and there can be no other prosecutor as this is strictly a federal case.
The DOJ is part of the Executive branch of federal government and is completely separate from the Judicial branch.
Sullivan, and now apparently the DC Court of Appeals, are breaching the separation of powers laid out in the Constitution between the Executive and Judiciary
The DOJ can file a motion (I am thinking) with SCOTUS to suspend the DC courts from breaching the separation of powers and to declare any further delay in granting case dismissal as a de facto continuation of said breach.
Upon granting motion to suspend, the DOJ can claim bad faith on the part of the DC courts and request leave to transfer jurisdiction to federal courts outside DC.
Upon granting leave to transfer jurisdiction outside DC, the DOJ can request precedent to transfer all cases pending or in preparation, transfer outside DC courts.
The White House, citing bad faith, can file a complaint with SCOTUS to bring the DC courts into a receivership where special court masters are appointed to investigate corrupt practices of the DC courts using declared bad faith the Flynn case as pretext.
Meanwhile, SpyGate, FISAGate, and others can be filed in federal courts outside DC.
How, exactly, would he intercede in the Flynn case?
Powell needs to be rescued from her shoddy legal representation.
Barr tried it once, but Powell mucked up the case so bad that she gave Sullivan all the legal grounds he needed to look into the case to inquire why Flynn lied under oath.
It looks like Trump will have to rescue her.
There are two reasons Durham will not interfere to help her out. First, on what grounds? And second, why?
Hairface and Billy Bagpipes at The Department of Injustice. We’re looking, listening, examining. F.I.B. is quiet.

We have choices, as do you, every day. Part of the problem or part of the solution?
... the Government has concluded that the interview of Mr. Flynn was untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI's counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn--a no longer justifiably predicated investigation that the FBI had, in the Bureau's own words, prepared to close because it had yielded an "absence of any derogatory information." Ex. 1 at 4, FBI FD-1057 "Closing Communication" Jan. 4, 2017 (emphases added). The Government is not persuaded that the January 24, 2017 interview was conducted with a legitimate investigative basis and therefore does not believe Mr. Flynn's statements were material even if untrue. ...... there was no question at the FBI as to the content of the calls; the FBI had in its possession word-for-word transcripts of the actual communications between Mr. Flynn and Mr. Kislyak. See Ex. 5 at 3; Ex. 13. at 3. With no dispute as to what was in fact said, there was no factual basis for the predication of a new counterintelligence investigation.
There was no crime. Even if Flynn's plea is taken as "I lied to the FBI," there is no crime.
Gets into the weeds, but Sullivan is aware of the materiality requirement, and he never made a finding that the lie was material.
I think time is just about running out on Durham. The DoJ will not indict anyone connected to politics after Labor Day. They won’t want to be perceived as interfering with an election. Ironic, since the entire case is about the Democrats interfering in the last election.
The question remains "will he"... my guess. NO, he will NOT!
