Democrats around the country have begun to pressure the Biden campaign to call off all debates with Donald Trump due to the coronavirus pandemic, they say.
In truth, the reason they don’t want Biden to debate Trump is that they don’t think Trump will play by their rules. The president would take over the debate and make it about what he wants, not what Biden wants.
Democrats are also worried about Biden’s mental stamina and his ability to remain engaged for an hour and a half during a debate.

I have a solution for the Dems to keep Biden from wandering off during the debates. The B-52 bomber’s ejection system has leg guards to prevent crew members from breaking their legs during ejection. The leg guards automatically engage as part of the ejection process. They are a type of shackles. They can install the leg guard system in Bidens’ podium. They will engage when Biden steps up to the podium and can be remote controlled to release when the Dems need it.
Only problem for the Dems is that Biden may forget about the system and panic.
This might make for a good bumper sticker,

Not a joke and not hyperbole - I’m hearing from people close to the situation that Biden’s cognitive decline is rapidly worsening and is becoming increasingly difficult to mask. The Democrats are going to have to make a decision soon.

At a recent ‘peaceful protest’ there were signs saying “Trump-Pence Out Now!” obviously left over from those heady days in early 2016 after inauguration.

IOW, having the media throw Biden softballs is as far as they might be willing to go, but Trump must not be allowed to ask Biden any question or alter the media-prepared narrative (heavy on the prepared part).
