Democrats around the country have begun to pressure the Biden campaign to call off all debates with Donald Trump due to the coronavirus pandemic, they say.
In truth, the reason they don’t want Biden to debate Trump is that they don’t think Trump will play by their rules. The president would take over the debate and make it about what he wants, not what Biden wants.
Democrats are also worried about Biden’s mental stamina and his ability to remain engaged for an hour and a half during a debate.

THAT is the truth. They know their POTUS candidate is no more than a card board cut out stand in just waiting for the VP pick to take over.
Either way he loses. First President to duck in person debates = WIMP. If he does debate he just isn't right so it will not be pretty.
And he would still come across as a bumbling idiot.

Yes, with his mental status there’s no way he’d be able to listen to an earpiece and talk coherently at the same time.
If Biden does this, Trump should go on a cross country tour with a wooden dummy in chair next to him. Basically relentlessly mock Biden as a coward and mentally deficient every change he gets...
The debates (if they occur) will be Trump against Biden and the moderators. Biden’s camp will have all the questions ahead of time.
The questions for Trump will all be of the variety “why do you beat your wife.
Trump should just say no to the debates unless he can pick 1/2 the moderators.

I think what really scares the Democrats is the incumbency issue.
Any time Biden babbled on about this experience, all the President has to say:
“You claim to have ___ experience because you were in the room. I have had to make the tough decisions because I am the President.”
“Everybody knows who I am and what I have done and what I will do. Nobody knows what you will do. You are a risk America can’t afford to take in these challenging times.”
Incumbency, properly used, is a huge advantage in a debate.
And he is going to handle Putin?
Without a real convention, without debates the public will be asked to buy a pig in a poke.
There will be no debates. Disgraceful but true.
The HORRIBLE Dims are trying to fix the election, by refusing to expose just how DEMENTED Biden is, and how unfit he is to be President!!!!
Let him be nominated first.

Sure and then he can brag about beating PDJT in the debates he won’t even know he didn’t have.
He probably thinks he’s debating Nixon.
Don’t want debates, and don’t want in-person voting. I’m sure there are no shenanigans involved.
