A New Jersey Staples shopper with her nose poking out of her mask pushed another woman to the ground, breaking her leg, after being told to keep her uncovered schnoz six feet away.
The social-distancing encounter unfolded just after 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday at a Hackensack location, where the unknown assailant improperly wearing a mask walked up a 54-year-old woman using a copy machine, police said.

I was literally trying to pull myself to my feet by grabbing shelves and several employees and male shoppers just STEPPED OVER ME and kept going, for 10 minutes.

I don't think you could be sicker of it than I am. I was ordered out of Safeway by a rude snot-nosed 20 yr old girl and was not aware there was a mask mandate then. (Early June) Apart from that humiliation the fact that our betters think they have the authority to do it is far more angering to me.

Yes, the lady did make a tactical error by pointing her cane like that at the younger woman, but... why did that younger woman come up so close to her like that while she was apparently minding her own business? Was she an employee trying to help the older woman? Was she harassing the older woman for some reason? Not sure what was going on there to trigger such an attack.
Still... I can't believe no one helped that poor woman who was pretty violently thrown to the floor.
Masks, no masks, makes no real difference to coronavirus transmission. I just wear a mask made from cheesecloth when I have to. It satisfies the stupid mandates, and I can breathe.

The older woman, who had good reason to be concerned, saying something does not justify a physical attack on her person.
The black lady could have just rolled her eyes and gone on her way, ignoring the older lady.
She did NOT have to respond the way she did, which did nothing but escalate the situation.
