I guess it depends where you are

The union guys I know still like Trump and they know none of this is his fault - they felt betrayed by the Democrats and that has not changed.

I don’t know what is going to happen - but being weak and pandering is the last thing anyone wants from Trump - people like the way he speaks his mind.

I know what you mean about the older guys - but they didn’t vote for Trump anyway

RINOs too. Steven G. Calabresi, co-founder of the Federalist Society, has called for impeachment, over this tweet, seriously.

2017 DOJ made that determination so he couldn’t block nuisance folks from his Twitter statements....once again, context and ability to discern it are crucial....If they were actually official statements, Twitter couldn’t “amend” anything he puts out there either.

Impeachment? Now that’s funny. They will not let up until they reach their goal of removing and having him jailed.

Early days yet but the left has started promoting story lines that cover their retreat from total mail-in voting.

Postal Service Weighs Closing Offices, Cutting Services Ahead of 2020 Election Jennie Taer Jul 30, 2020
According to MarketWatch, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is positioning USPS “to eliminate overtime for hundreds of thousands of postal workers, potentially causing a delay in mail deliveries.”

Additionally, The Associated Press recently obtained memos from the Postal Service describing the need for an “operational pivot” to compensate for the losses suffered as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It’s just asinine to think that you can shut something down or throttle it back in terms of the pandemic when basically the lifeline for voting and democracy is going to be in the hands of the Postal Service,” Senator Joe Manchin, D-WV, who has received a number of complaints about USPS cutting offices, told reporters Wednesday, according to MarketWatch.

A USPS spokesperson told MarketWatch that the Postal Service “has experienced over a decade of financial losses, with no end in sight, and we face an impending liquidity crisis,” adding that “it is critical that the Postal Service take a fresh look at our operations and make necessary adjustments.”

Manchin, along with his Democratic colleagues in Congress, have expressed grave concerns over the financial cuts. Moreover, they’ve pushed to include extra funding for USPS in the coronavirus financial relief bills.

The bill passed in March allows the Treasury Department to lend $10 billion to the Postal Service.

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

Glad I was able to get the very dishonest LameStream Media to finally start talking about the RISKS to our Democracy from dangerous Universal Mail-In-Voting (not Absentee Voting, which I totally support!).

I wish he could. Some idiot at the Federalist Society thinks he should be impeached for just suggesting it. So stupid. If COVID is so terrible that the economy needs to be shut down and everyone return to their safe place, why not delay the election?

Per the 20th amendment his term is up on 20 Jan 2021 with or without an election.

As far as I know there is no constitutional provision for he or Pence to remain in office beyond that date without being re-elected.

Except that all they are talking about is how the chances of fraud with mail-in voting is so low as to be virtually non-existent. Not the conversation I think Trump was hoping for.

“President Donald Trump on Thursday predicted the 2020 election would be the “most inaccurate and fraudulent” in history, and even suggested delaying it as Democrats continue promoting vote by mail during the coronavirus pandemic.”

Are you saying Breitbart is leftist?

Calabresi opposed the Mueller impeachment, he’s lost his mind.

Close post offices. Democrats and fraud ballot harvesters can’t read maps or find regular drop offs where INDIVIDUAL ballots would be accepted. Republicans can read maps.

I find the timing of the announcement of USPS closing site very interesting. I didn’t know the management were patriots.

The State Legislatures will appoint their electors, whether there is voting or not.

There is no provision in the Constitution that even SUGGESTS individuals voting is the way to choose electors, never mind a provision that REQUIRES it.

The electors will vote on December 15, 2020, the Special Joint Session with Mike Pence in the chair will count the votes on January 5, 2021, and either Donald Trump or the new President will take the oath of office on January 20, 2021 at noon.

All this will take place whether there is a “Presidential election”, or there isn’t.

Early voting should be illegal. Absentee voting should be illegal as well.
