Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???
I really hope I am wrong and the left’s arguments on this subject fall flat once again. You are right, time will tell. I just see nothing positive or productive in the tweet.
The enemy will naturally attack where they believe there is a weakness in your defenses.
By feigning a weakness, you can provoke an attack on your terms, thereby controlling the dynamics.
This is what President Trump is a master at doing, time and time again.
The angrier they are the less rational, and the less aware they are, that they are being played.
Often, when the President tweets something, you don’t find out until a few weeks later what the purpose was.
He, skillfully, just took the focus off mail-in ballot fraud and placed it back on himself.
I think POTUS is aware and that is why he is trying so hard to open the Country. That is why the Left are trying so hard to keep it closed. POTUS needs to show that America will be winning on the economic front soon.
Look at the KODAK deal. It’s amazing. We will now be manufacturing generics & building blocks on American soil w/a American workers. We will not be held hostage for PPE & generic drugs.
The MSM is burying that story and any other story that show the successes of POTUS. He is tweeting and using social media to get the messages out but he needs to disrupt the cacophony of fake news to allow people to hear. This tweet gets them off their hobby horse and gives him some room to shape the dialog.
Early in his Presidency he got them to give him airtime by saying he had an announcement on a topic they wanted to pin them down on. He did a whole presentation of the things he wanted to get out and at the end said one noncommittal sentence on their gotcha topic. They were rick rolled.
This will be the same.
POTUS doesn’t want to postpone the election. He wants to inflame the left so they react in a wild uncoordinated fashion.
He was unsuccessful in getting traction on mail in ballot fraud. The Left was winning. Now they can explain why if it’s so dangerous we shouldn’t protect the vote & the voters by delaying. All of a sudden they will be arguing it’s not THAT dangerous.

He has come out showing the science that established that kids and adults are worse off when schools & businesses are closed. That made more Governors close schools, NJ will be announcing only distance learning shortly. They think it’s a winning tactic.
DJT has to make it against the Left’s interest to stay closed. He has begun that shift.

I hope you are right but the President had an opportunity to address the public everyday via the Coronavirus Task Force meetings and he decided not to bother with them anymore. Once he disappeared from TV, his approval started to drop. I hope that he can get his message out because time is slipping by quickly. As for opening up the country, that has not been going too well and we are going backwards in too many places now. This virus really should have been contained by now, we are on month 6 and half the country is worse off than they were in month 4.
