Trump tells voters who live in suburbs they ‘will no longer be bothered’ by low-income housing

President Trump told suburban voters in a tweet on Wednesday they will “no longer be bothered or financially hurt” by having low-income housing in their neighborhood after his administration revoked an Obama-era housing rule.

The Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing, or the AFFH rule, was designed to eliminate racial disparities in housing by telling jurisdictions that receive housing funds they must assess patterns of housing discrimination and come up with a plan to diminish them.

“I am happy to inform all of the people living their Suburban Lifestyle Dream that you will no longer be bothered or financially hurt by having low income housing built in your neighborhood," Trump tweeted Wednesday. “Your housing prices will go up based on the market, and crime will go down. I have rescinded the Obama-Biden AFFH Rule. Enjoy!”

Housing projects are built by the government to warehouse poor people for free. They do as good a job at making beautiful and safe housing as you would expect the government to do.

I don’t know what you’re talking about. You seem to be trolling me for some reason. Whatever, enjoy LA.

Trolling you? I responded to the original poster when you latched onto me.

I was merely saying that low income blights the city homes....not just far flung suburbanites like you.

No but he has people for that.

What he has are a bunch of traitors and very few loyal people.

Only sociopaths and pussies get into politics, generally.

If he doesn’t win and the leftist mob takes over, they plan on diminishing the proportion of single family houses in America.

Re-zoning and huge tax increases will cause people to bail out. Then all Section 8s for free (small fee) where people let the grass go into weeds and collect hubcaps and stolen auto parts in the back yards.

Building “the Projects” like the old days. Hundreds of downtrodden people in cheap, hopeless looking high rise buildings which can then foster drug dealing and stolen property as well as prostitution.

Excellent book Great Society by Amity Shlaes covers the rise and big fall of those. The residents hated them and so did the neighbors.

There are places like that allover.A high end highschool in college park georgia bought my grandparents house along with the other three at the intersection and absorbed them into the school property. Its still nice but the area around it has gone to the dogs. Its nice to take my kids by there and show them where I grew up way back when.

Thank you DJT!

They were talking about building a bunch of low income BS up in my rural county in NW New Jersey. There are ZERO services here. No Jobs, No buses, no trains, we had a taxi, he died.
What would they have done here except make the rest of us miserable?
