Tuesday's House Judiciary Committee hearing with Attorney General William Barr had plenty of popcorn moments, but one exchange the witness had with Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-PA) deserves an honorable mention. As Dean, a Democratic representative from Pennsylvania, was questioning the attorney general, she seemed to completely forget her point. And Barr instantly called her bluff.
Dean began her interrogation with a timeline of events on the day President Trump walked from the White House to St. John's Episcopal Church, which had been lit on fire the night before during George Floyd-related riots in the city. About 15 minutes before he took his stride to the church, park police sprayed protesters outside the White House in Lafayette Square with PepperBalls, clearing the area. Barr said it was a coincidence.
She then displayed a description of the DOJ's use of less-lethal weapons from a 2009 report. It explained that the accuracy and accompanying blunt trauma impact of PepperBalls make it "an ideal chemical dispensing system." So, Dean concluded that although Barr claimed it "wasn't a chemical," he must at least be aware of his department's policy.
"What policy?" Barr asked.

I noticed that they ALL had their DNC talking points printed out, and were reading from them.
What I’d like to know is....was there a printer sitting somewhere, close by, that would spit out new/updated/revised talking points, written by Central Planning, that runners would grab copy and get to each of these disgusting traitors to read aloud?
They were all spewing an obviously coordinated message. I’m certain that AG Barr picked up on this, without anyone pushing notes/talking points to him, immediately.
Maybe this will light a fire under AG Barr to briskly and boldly...and, with no mercy...go after the crooks on the left/DS.
AG Barr didnt seem to like my questions, but he outright admitted that peaceful protestors will be met with chemical irritants and force. Its a very important, non-lethal option. Take your disdain up with the First Amendment and the right to peacefully assemble. https://t.co/OYzeS6Uk16— Congresswoman Madeleine Dean (@RepDean) July 28, 2020
you looked like you just got out of bed and are a disgrace to anyone who lives in Montgomery County. I'm sure your kids are proud of that pathetic s-show you put on.— Tony Bruno (@TonyBrunoShow) July 29, 2020
++++!
“The bastard Democrats accomplished only two things: They showed their true, ugly colors and they pissed off AG Barr and normal, decent people who witnessed their putrid display.”
They accomplished a third thing. They demonstrated that they are with the rioters, not with law enforcement, and that they consider violent protests to be ok. They just owned what is going on.
That’s right. Their supporters are as vile and indecent and disgusting as they are.
They Think they showed him who’s the boss. Lol
It must be pure magic in her office.
Exactly so. Well said.
she represents NW philly, a hot bed of conservatism in a shthole city

I have ZERO respect for her or anyone who acts like her. Members of the House of Representatives are our employees, and we demand that they act that way. There is NOTHING about the House as a body of legislature that is worthy of ANY respect. Ted Kennedy, God rest his soul, was a pig of a man who was responsible for murder and sexual assault, among other things. He was neither honorable nor impressive, yet democrat members of the House exalted him. There are many, many more examples of entirely unimpressive, and often entirely unethical House members. I'm surprised they don't regularly fumigate the Capitol building.
Dean is just another pinhead lawyer with an attitude.

Thank you!
Love it! He handed her her bony, anorexic @$$ on live tv!
“You wanna piece of me?!?”
It is not wise to insult the man who could put you in prison.
That’s right.
AND MZZZZZ.DEAN, Respect is EARNED. Not DEMANDED.
The best line from Barr, more or less:
"I thought this was a hearing to listen to what I have to say."
Customary to allow persons to answer questions. That was not in evidence as they repeatedly cut him off; it was a farce for all to see.
She was a rude, arrogant beeotch.

Whereupon he SHOULD have said “respect needs to be earned, miss what-is-your-name again?”
Her head would have exploded.
+10000!
Tjey’re just reading what staffers write for them. They haven’t a clue about the substance of the issues they are talking about.
