Im not surprised, though I am chagrined, that a lot of people, including people I know and respect, are buying into the idea that what were in the midst of is a Marxist revolution in the U.S.
Look, I understand, okay? Not as many people have had the experience I had of living under unbridled, unmasked Marxist power, so you dont understand their myths and how they actually connect with reality. Oh, youre starting to see it, as the left drops its masks, but its not the same as seeing them running around, showing their behinds and expounding the craziest theories during your formative years, when your eye is unsparing. There is a reason it was a little boy who cried the king goes naked.
Lets start with what the left thinks they are doing:
They think theyre bringing about their utopia, their heaven on Earth.
They have been programmed indoctrinated, really from birth via the media, education, entertainment, and heaven have mercy even churches and synagogues into believing what amounts to a heretical Christian sect.
There are many variations of the Communist mythos, mostly Marx, but with its roots firmly in Rosseau. They range from racial ones (one to each race) to feminist ones. There are probably others I havent even heard about.
The myth goes like this: in the beginning, there was no capitalism (the cults quaint name for any free buying and selling or trade. (This is why they call monarchies capitalism or private property.) This was the dawn of man, the perfect state of humanity. Because there was no property there was no envy and no crime. Man (and particularly woman) lived in a time of innocence. In this perfect utopia feminist version women ruled, sex was free...

I’ve had it pointed out to me by more than a few contacts that most of the rioting is being done by 18-24 year olds who were in school during the time Obama was POTUS. Fundamentally transform indeed.
When I was getting my BA in History in the late 70s, all of my professors were enamored with the French Revolution. For the Left, that seems to be the Gold Standard of glorious revolutions. It ended with a military dictatorship, but, hey, don’t they all?
I was getting my BA in History in the early 80’s and the faculty were all having daily multiple orgasms over Howard Zinn.
“I for one am not going to lay back and believe it is only death throes. And neither should the President.”
I agree. Not a good idea to be complacent and believe it’ll blow over all on it’s own. These bastards are relentless, they never give up. We have to push back hard and defeat them.
I’ve been saying to my friends that the Antifa BLM rioters are trying to get shot so the media can splash a massacre in our faces. But, so far, the police, and conservatives in general, have not played their game. It’s like we’re the adults watching a bunch of two and three year olds throwing temper tantrums.
We watch. We wait.

This isn't the beginning of the end. The people behind the scenes are still calling the shots and re-tooling their plans. It's a pause until they can exploit the next racial or cultural spark.
Unless something is done about our schools the future of America is putting out fires and one future fire could be an uncontrollable wild fire.
This isn't the time to claim victory and relax.
As they say, 'you may not care about the revolution but the revolution cares about you'.
Actually, some of the folks getting robbed and looted are _getting_ it:

Agreed—this is a great “teaching moment”.
Millions of Americans learned for the first time that the politicians do not have their back, and they need to be prepared to defend themselves and their families.
That is _very_ good news.
While the author makes a good case, she is down playing some significant “winds” that are blowing in the country. There have been profound demographic changes and cultural shifts that have already transformed us into a country that is barely recognizable from what it was just a couple decades ago. The Left is firmly in control of pretty much everything in this society and their media is a massive propaganda machine that promotes their agenda every single day. And we don’t have a political party that stands up to them or fights for us.
I agree with her that the mob isn’t going to spread anarchy and revolution across the country, but they don’t really have to. They just want to gain political control and then its clear sailing for them.
The country is like a ship with a hull that is encrusted with barnacles and infested with ship worms whose structural integrity is being slowly destroyed. Half of the crew is rooting for the ship to sink, even if it takes them down with it.
If we do well in November, the GOP has to be willing to make some major major changes in government.

With all due respect, I have zero confidence in the GOP. They have stabbed us in the back too many times for me to believe they will ever represent us.
Hoping that they will come around (which they never do) is an exercise in futility. Reagan couldn’t change them and its pretty obvious that Trump can’t either. The GOP just is what it is, and its never going to change.
The only reason anyone votes for the GOP is because it is the lesser of two evils. That’s it. If there was a real conservative alternative nobody would vote for the GOP — for any reason.
We are in desperate need of a new party. That is the only thing that will give us a fighting chance IMO.
Good read. Not sure I agree with every point, but worthy of thought.
Fixed it.
“There have been profound demographic changes and cultural shifts that have already transformed us into a country that is barely recognizable from what it was just a couple decades ago”
In the end, immigration is the cause.
Would the “Left” have any real voters if not for the tens of millions of non-Americans now cross dressing as us in our midst?
The twin evils are abortion and third world immigration: the first decimated two generations of Americans, a populace that used to have 4 and 5 children per family, now below two; and the second opened the flood gates to people who had nothing to do with our nation, are not related to us, and have only one object in mind: take what we have.
Without those two things the Left would have to go back to pretending they’re “for the little guy” meaning some white guy in a Cleveland suburb working at the Ford plant in Brook Park...which closed.
Exactly. I loathe that decade. Those stupid, stupid sub humans.
I don’t disagree.
On the one hand, we can see the Leftists rioting in our cities and we can see Democrat leadership supporting the rioters and attacking the police and the reasonable response is — “Now I see who you really are.”
If the GOP does well in November, controls the House, controls the Senate, controls the Supreme Court, has a powerful President in the White House, and has clearly seen the great danger of the Leftist mob — if the GOP behaves as they always do, and basically makes no attempt to do anything, then the reasonable response is — “Now I see who you really are.”
I’m guessing we might get that new Party.
They are....they're just too ignorant of history to know that it "is" the French Revolution, but think it is the latest, most modern, thought.
Yet, just last week, Highland Park and Evanston were the sight of recruiting and training for wall of moms/dads/other amateurs for the weekend protests.
There is another reason the country has changed so much: a huge increase in the number of single parent households. This phenomena is having a big impact on our culture.
There was a lady on one of the Fox shows recently who pointed this out. The statistics are shocking but even more disturbing are the effects this is having on the growing numbers of fatherless children and their attendant “issues”.
Its going to be a long term problem that will have profound implications for society.
