If Africans had stayed in African it's a safe bet that there would have been the likes of Rep. Ilhan Omar's father who was connected umbilically to crazed Somalian sociopath dictator Said Barre. But what are the chances that Omar herself would have been more than a piece of meat or sidewalk beggar? If Africa hadn't turned selling other Africans to slave traders into a thriving economy, even if there were an Al Sharpton and Maxine Waters, would they be the shakedown scammers they are today in the United States? Does anyone honestly believe that the likes of Stacey Abrams would be provided money and privilege to attack a sitting African dictator or warlord? Would Karen Attiah, global editor for the fish-wrapper newspaper Washington Post, be working for a major newspaper attacking white women in the crudest most boorish ways? The truth is heck no. However, I'd say there's a better than even chance that her ancestors were likely the very Africans who made slave trading a commercial success for certain African tribes. Attiah is from Ghana, and until the early 1900s Ghana was the slave trader nation Ashanti.

Since LBJ’s Great Society, we’ve spent trillions of dollars on these jackazzes, not to mention the money and American blood spent freeing them in the 1800s. Thru Affirmative Action, they’ve been given the very best opportunities that this country has to offer. Given first choice on jobs, etc.
And it STILL isn’t good enough...and never will be for this thankless bunch. Now, they want “reparations”...and I think we should pay them reparations. We should pay them exactly what was taken from their “ancestors”: A loin cloth, a spear and a free one-way trip back to Africa.

My understanding is that the Bantus were colonizing non-Bantu areas of Africa long before the Europeans got there.

That is an excellent poInt. When the European powers colonized Africa, they drew up national boundaries with no regard to tribal boundaries. That is the source of much of the misfortune in Africa today.
It would be as if in the 1800s Germany, Poland, and Hungary had been forced into one country. German officials would be favoring German citizens at the expense of the Poles and Hungarians. Etc. There would be lots of “tribal” cronyism.
It would be difficult to form a working country under those conditions.
We’d have clean streets, safe neighborhoods, albeit a more boring sports and music culture, but we’d be going to vacation on Mars,doing earthbound vacations via StarTrek style transporter beam and taking cruises outside the solar system

We know the answer. Oprah would be living in a mud hut and weigh 90 pounds.
Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson would be wagering on which of them would get to roast and then EAT her.
Those who could afford a boat ride across the Atlantic, would all be at the Mexican border trying to get into the USA illegally.
