House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., took a page out of President Trump’s playbook on Sunday when she bestowed a derogatory nickname on the commander in chief.
“This president, I have a new name for him, Mr. Make Matters Worse,” Pelosi said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” when discussing the president’s response to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Pelosi went on to slam Trump for his past statements saying that the virus will go away on its own “like a miracle” and other controversial comments the president has made during the public health crisis.

The rats working with MSM to exploit a national pandemic to destroy the President. I am willing to bet if everything was the same and it was a rat President we would be rallying behind them and working together to meet the challenge for the good of the country. The offensive is full now, just today I have seen a dozen Biden ads saying what Pelosi said.
How would Hillary or any Democrat have handled the situation? They would have done NOTHING because the MSM would not have reported one single death from Covid. All the deaths would have been attributed to heart conditions or pneumonia.

In the beginning of the pandemic Democrats insisted that the President must demur to the state Governors, that the Constitution leaves these powers to the States. Trump obliged becoming a facilitator for acquiring and distributing PPE and jaw boning American industry into building more respirators. Now the Democrats attack him for not doing what they told him he couldn’t do!
Think Jimmy Carter. The Iran Hostage Crisis consumed the entire 1980 election, but only furtive analysis of the crisis itself and brief allusions to it were allowed. Everyone supported Carter on the surface, even though many supported Ted Kennedy or Reagan. Politically, Carter shielded himself for many months using the fact that the country was in crisis, and people rallied to the president.
That only works for Democrats.

It would be mostly in rhetoric. Instead of glibly dismissing it, they presumably have echoed the same alarmist statements of the medical bureaucrats.
