Walmart and others will still serve customers who refuse to wear masks, despite new rules.

Walmart and other major retailers made headlines last week with a new requirement for customers to wear masks in its US stores. But the new rules only go so far.

Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walgreens, CVS and others say they still won’t prohibit customers who refuse to wear a mask from shopping in stores. The issue, they say, is they want to avoid confrontations between angry customers and employees.

But you must exhale CO2 for your own good, as well as for the grass, and the trees good.

“....a member of management is instructed to ask if the customer would like a complimentary mask.”

When management asks...say “Yes”. When given the mask...stick it in your pocket....and continue shopping.

Oh you silly rabbit!

Preventing rising seas is MUCH more important than providing food for trees or blades of grass.

We MUST have more govt control to stop global warming...and we only have 3.4 years...or is it 4.3 years...or maybe it’s 7.8 years...or it’s ....

Walmart home depot lowes never closed their doors, no spike in virus activity yet small businesses come under the Nazi control of local Nazi rat leaders and their demands.
==========+=======

And in the dark early days of scare the local Lowe’s parking lot looked on a Tuesday like it normally does on any summer Saturday - well filled.

I avoid going anywhere face coverings are required, but sometimes I can’t avoid it. I hate masks for a myriad of reasons, so I bought a face shield that clips onto a ballcap. I have it clipped to my MAGA hat.

“diseases like legionaire’s disease or pneumonia is that those are curable diseases that don’t kill like Corona does”

Tell my aunt, whose son died with Legionnaire’s Disease that it doesn’t kill. And ... nobody every died with pneumonia?

SERIOUSLY???

WuFlu is more curable than Legionnaire’s and pneumonia.

I’ve been replacing baseboard, door and window trim thru-out the house with MDF flat trim. Cutting that stuff throws up a plume of very fine dust that you really don’t want in your lungs, so I always wear an N95 mask. Yesterday was sweltering outside...actually felt faint with the mask on.

My hubby was confronted by a hysterical Karen in a waiting room, not because of masks but by distancing. Signs on the chairs had every other one blocked off, and he was sitting in one of the verboten chairs. (I had been sitting next to him before I was called in to the doctor.) She had a hissy fit, so he moved to the next chair, and then she FELT better.

I guess she’s measurement challenged. The chairs are 2’ wide, not 6’, so it still didn’t fall within the Fauci guidelines. (She’s a public school teacher, I later learned.)

It’s not disinformation. I was in our local Wal Mart yesterday maskless and saw quite a few others similarly attired and got no push back whatever.

Masks wont even stop a common fart and yet they’re claiming they can protect against viruses. They think everyone is a moron and sadly enough most people are.

Yeah, and that’s how crazy plenty of hacks are out there, they act as if the only thing that can kill you is COVID-19.

At the Walmart I shop, everyone is required to wear a mask on entry. But once in, about 30% pull the mask down, around their neck, or put it in their pocket. About 5 or 10% of employees do not wear mask while pushing pallets of stock around and stocking shelves.

Blacks are about 70% at this Walmart. There seems to be no difference between Black, white or Hispanic in behavior.

When a store has a sign that says “Must wear face covering to enter” I wear it to enter and then immediately remove it after I get in the door. So far no-one has ever said a word to me about it.

At my dental appointment they said I had to wear one while inside. I told them I’d be outside and they can come get me for my appointment.

A friend of mine (No really, someone I know not just a nebulous “friend”) tried to enter a Walmart maskless. She was confronted by store staff and showed them this policy.

The manager was called as was the Sheriff.

She was detained and handcuffed and forced under duress to sign a document promising to not shop at that store for a year.

My Walmart had a security guard at the entrance yesterday.
He was wearing dark glasses and had a baton on his belt.
So much for the Walmart greeters with cheerful smiles.

Not to mention the seriously improper fit. Big bulge between the ear loops, gap on both sides of the nose, when I tried to wear one it kept fogging my glasses no matter how good I got it to fit. If it does that, it lets air in too. Totally useless...

Those regular N95 masks don't fit me. I have to buy one with the silicone mask, in medium size, that has replaceable filters. When I used to paint, the company would buy Large spray masks so I'd end up buying my own in Medium. You can't have a beard and paint cars in an auto body shop that has any sort of safety program. First thing they'll tell you is you need to shave the beard off or at least shave it down so that it all fits inside the mask to skin contact area. Lots of guys with beards here in MO, including retail workers. A strip of cloth or surgical style mask looks ridiculous over a full beard. But hey, there are TV shows with bearded surgeons so it's all good.

It was the same for me when working with potential hazards in their air. Not only that, but no touching your mask, along with proper removal and handwashing because your mask could have some poisonous chemical contaminants on it. As someone who had his entire face, even his eyes, covered for handling real airborne chemical hazards, how people handle masks makes me cringe.
