Simple reason is that he is staring at the polls showing a wipeout, and needs to change his approach. The current approach is losing, and he hates losing.
we know and he knows and has stated the polls are always wrong. 4 years ago Clinton should have won. Republicans usually lie to pollsters. Dems are always oversampled.
He should have changed his coronavirus approach long ago. Nixing the convention is what I don’t agree with. I think it’s a panicked reaction that will only hurt the energy level on our side. But it is what it is.
