‘Trafalgar just had Trump winning Michigan and Pennsylvania and down only two in Wisconsin.’

the last Trafalgar poll in MI in mid-June had Biden up by 1; the last in PA early July Biden was up by 5...it’s good to have passion, but this kind of stuff is public record...

‘They might just stay home.’

women consistently outvote men; especially young women...if any group is not going to just stay home, it is American women...

I especially liked it yesterday when President Trump had a formal presentation about the new Legend Program with a speech and comments from a few principals but no questions at all from the press. It ended on the serious and compassionate tone that was appropriate.

Later that same day he had a short press conference where he said a few things and then took a few questions and departed . I see it as a very positive Kayleigh McEnany effect.

Are people who watch CNN, NBC etc even seeing the riots? I do not watch the propaganda press but I doubt that they show rioting. Maybe they did during the first few days. Then they created the expression “mostly peaceful” just in case their viewers saw some video of a riot on YouTube or somewhere.

I'll tell you what I strongly suspect the President's "knowledge" and "information" is:

NOTHING.

That's right. The knowledge and information he has in his possession is that the medical profession and the entire Federal bureaucracy is basically operating in the dark, and has no idea how to deal with COVID-19.

Thank God that the President has become more sensible about this.

The virus is not going away.

There must be alternative ways to have a convention.

Says the masked patriot. After all that spending, h1bs, reciord numbers of border crossers and bumpstockban you would think Pelosi would allow him. Did he not free enough criminals yet.
He is implementing a posse commitatus work around by bailing out dem cites with force and lots of taxes from hard working citizens.
Maybe he could propose more shobel ready jobs and get the union vote. Infrastructure spending, that should do it.
Meanwhole our country is being erased from within.

Oh, really?

Tell that to all those who are mourning the deaths of my sister-in-law on April 29, followed one month later by the death of her daughter, my niece, on June 1.

In upper New York State.

Are you suggesting that these decisions should be emotion based?

Here’s what the strategy should be.

1. Convince them to vote Trump.
2. If you can’t get them to bring themselves to vote for Trump, encourage them to vote Anything But Democrat.
3. The ones that won’t do the first two should be encouraged to stay home (”Everyone sucks, why vote?”).

This strategy has proven to work in many jurisdictions. The Dems rode it back into total power in CA, for example.

About a school reopening plan...that's a no-go with many mothers of schoolchildren. In my family alone, six mothers have decided to homeschool for the next school year! This took me by surprise, because all had previously been adamantly opposed to homeschooling. They live in five different states , all with varying rates of covid. My daughter, on the board of her children's school, announced it to me today. When I asked her first grader what he thought about it, he did the Happy Dance all up and down my livingroom!😻💃🇺🇸 My granddaughter, the School Nurse at her boys' school decided two weeks ago to homeschool. Her in-laws have pitched in to do the job, as she still has to work at the school. . Not to brag, but all my girls are very strong, intelligent, sensible women, and not led by social media. I am fine with their decisions. Relieved, really.

Just so I’m clear ... the path to victory is to look and act as weak as your enemy. All this timidity is going to accomplish is to embolden America’s enemies to drag out the lockdown/irrational virus fear hoax straight through to November, whereas strong leadership would have ended this sh!t a couple of months ago. OK. Got it.

The convention may disband without a nominee, leaving the Republicans off the ballot in November. The Republicans also can cross-endorse Biden, the “national unity” candidate. According to media reports, most Republicans strongly support Biden anyway. Media have a long history of fake news, extreme pro-Democrat bias, and intensifying overt Communist cheer-leading.

The debate rules, if debates occur, will be very severely skewed toward Biden. Apparently, a panel of real-time fact-checkers will force Trump to use Democrat-approved language to describe falsely his position and to praise Biden, Pelosi, Hillary, Obama, and various other Democrats continually and effusively. Remember also that Hillary trounced Trump in the worst shellacking in presidential debate history, three times in a row. Trump simply isn’t a highly regarded debater, and incumbent presidents tend to perform very poorly in debates. Consider George Walker Bush, who lost most of his slight lead over John Forbes Kerry on account of a shockingly bad debate performance in 2004.

Suburbanites don’t go into the city anymore because we are all working from home now. Therefore suburban voters don’t mind the violence in the cities that much. Doesn’t affect them.

I think Trump should issue a “school reopening plan” and work with governors to get the schools open. It’s a battle against the unions. The white moms want to see “a plan” from Trump.
