Federal officers in Portland may have been permanently blinded by lasers, officials say

At least three federal officers in Portland may not recover their vision after earlier this week demonstrators, who have shown up in crowds of over 1,000 for more than 50 consecutive nights, shined lasers in their eyes and threw fireworks at a federal courthouse, officials said.

During Monday night's confrontation, one person also threatened to cut off the water supply to federal officers inside the building.

Federal Protective Service (FPS) Deputy Director of Operations Richard “Kriss” Cline said at a press conference on Tuesday that a crowd of more than 1,000 “rioters” surrounded the Hatfield Federal Courthouse and began removing plywood coverings before attempting to throw objects – some of them incendiary – through the windows at federal officers inside.

I’m reminded of the Japanese in WWII. They wouldn’t surrender until they were thoroughly thrashed and their mindset shattered.

I cannot see how antifa/blm people will change their mindset unless they get a righteous and completely overwhelming beatdown. How would this be accomplished without their deaths? They ain’t gonna change otherwise....

Every single one of those 1,000 people in the crowd are responsible for the officers' injuries.

Two words: Soylent Green.

“The rioters are so very predictable... I wonder how long until military tactics are used against them and they’re all rounded up simultaneously.”

Being predictable is very bad. Other actors also use such predictability to attack them with IEDs, gunfire, etc. It has been proven all over the world and in spades in the middle east. A daily repeating rally/riot there would almost make you autodead.

Thanks, never heard of thst before. Already more than a hundred years ago...

It was communicated to the German army that French and British soldiers would torture and then killed their troops if found with a sawback blade on their bayonet. Therefore an order was issued in 1917 that all sawbacks be removed from service.

https://www.armourgeddon.co.uk/the-german-sawback-blade-bayonet.html

FYI, most of the sites I’ve checked in the last 10 minutes or so report the “rumor” of this, and some respondents ask if it’s true, but have yet to see any actual examples.

Every city has an EQUAL right to become the next Detroit.

Good luck with that.

The feds need to start by arresting the state officials who are abrogating their oaths and aiding and abetting the unlawful rioters.

At some point, they will have to be arrested and if a Leftist judge tries to interfere, President Trump will have to pull an Andrew Jackson and tell him to shove it where the sun does not shine.

The real way to stop this (and for the life of me I don’t know why Trump hasn’t done it yet) is to start rounding-up all of the university faculty that provides organizing and material support for ANTIFA.

Start throwing the field lieutenants in jail and the shock-troop kiddies will lose their taste for this fight.

“Trow something potentially lethal, and you get shot in the knee with a .22 round.”

How about in the Molotov Cocktail they are holding.

One word: Snipers

An unserious government can be toppled by a few hundred people not afraid to die.

The response to events in Portland is deeply, deeply unserious.

Here’s one from that site that didn’t see the need to provide a citation source for rebuttal:

During the war the British started a propaganda campaign concentrating on the German use of the sawback bayonet as another “act of frightfulness by the bestial Hun”.

It was nothing of the sort with the saw only being used to cut light timber and brush for fortifications etc. However it filtered down to the troops & sawbacks were withdrawn.

It is quite ironic though that the sawback bayonets had already been used for many years by the British troops as Engineers bayonets. Truth seldom matters in times of war.

Cheers, S>S

The anarchists want another Kent State. We should not give them what they want. That’s why I like the Israeli approach. Use a low-velocity .22 round fired from a silenced, bolt-action rifle. Somebody throws something potentially lethal, he gets shot in the knee.

After seeing a few of your buddies mysteriously get shot like that you just might retreat to your mom’s basement for the duration.

Arrest the mayor. Charge him with aiding and abetting assault on a federal official.

POTUS has a case for closing federal government operations in the state of Oregon now. I’m sure the unions won’t object to that.
