Portland Goes To Hell: The Death Of An American City

Portland, Oregon, was once known as the quintessentially nice Northwestern city. Its nickname, “The Rose City,” was given to it by a Baptist group that held a convention there over a century ago. Sadly, today, riot-riven Portland smells like anything but roses.

The city has been the locus of nonstop violent protests for 51 days and counting. And really, calling them protests is incorrect: They are acts of outright rebellion, with many participants openly calling for the dismantling of the United States.

The Daily Caller described the mayhem and posted videos of it, which included the attempted torching of the Police Association building:

"Portland has seen over 50 days of protests and rioting, and Saturday proved to be no different. Daily Caller reporters were at the scene where rioters squared off with officers after tearing down fencing and using it to barricade the federal courthouse. …

Outside of the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse, hundreds gathered and immediately began removing fencing surrounding the park and courthouse that had been erected by officers. Some rioters barricaded the building and began to taunt officers by banging on the walls and yelling for them to come outside."

While all this was going on, more “largely peaceful” protesters broke into the police union’s building and tried to burn it down. That’s called arson, and it’s a felony.

Who’s behind all this? Antifa and Black Lives Matter, of course. But they aren’t the only ones. There are lots of other leftists of various affiliations agitating the crowds.

When did it become so radical? It is still a predominantly white city but it seems the whites are far more radicalized and violent talking and dominate these crazy Antifa led demonstrations.

Leftist teachers and Godless parents turned their children into Freedom hating marxists beginning a generation ago and now the red diaper babies are grown up - well - inhabit adult bodies.

They seem to be well organized and fairly disciplined. They cannot do this spontaneously. Under normal circumstances there would be more FBI in those groups than actual anarchists. There would be feature articles in the legacy media on this threat going back a long time. But now it is like they just popped up out of nowhere. There are apparently no informants, nobody in LE is tapped into their communication channels. Except for Project Veritas, nobody has penetrated their training or indoctrination. They are working hand in hand with government at every level. This is truly chilling.

What’s the story with Portland? When did it become so radical?

The story of the current situation in Portland is the same as Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco. The national highway system made it possible for misfits to find their way west to where the weather was nice and they could move into a place that was basically abandoned for the suburbs.

Years later, as costs climbed back up, they migrated north to Portland. Jobs left and debt climbed since the port closed 4-5 years ago. Enter meth and oxycotin.

Oregon has seceded from the Union and is no longer America

As such, the President should put in place a military governor and reduce the state to territorial status

When Portland stop arresting drug dealers and let drug addicts live on the streets, the city became a magnet for criminals.

The last time I was in Portland, the line for the clean needle hand out was blocks long. The panhandlers were every 3 feet and the sidewalks were littered with drug heads sleeping where ever they fell.

“Keep Portland Weird” is the most popular bumper sticker they sell at the airport...

oregon has already seceded. Oregon doesn’t recognize Federal Law. Oregon majority has royally screwed the people of eastern part of the state. They must take up arms to recover being Americans.

I'm thinking it could be because of the high percentage of foreign born people in these democratically controlled cities..
The foreigners want to bring America down, while the young "White" people have been lied to ( By their foreign born professors? ) and have had their brains turned to pure mush by the schools..

I took two trips to the Seattle area sometime between 2013 and 2015.. I said it many times back then and I'll say it again now.. That place, and the people in it, are messed up BAD...!

The State Department is determined to have each one of these parasite cities supported by their surrounding areas. Otherwise, the state lines would have been redrawn so that a each one of these crap holes become a non-incorporated territory (a Federal problem).

It was know as a city of kooks 40-50 years ago. I suppose with all the **trust fund** babies born in CA, they eventually migrated north to Portland and Seattle ruining both. They took over the schools and began the radicalization - now reaching critical mass.

These kids not only love socialism because that’s what they’ve been taught, but also because many of them receive monthly checks in the tens of thousand of dollars from the family trust fund(s) and have never worked a day in their short lives nor will they ever have the need. They idealistically imagine socialism will bring what they have to the masses, and, to do that, they must destroy the evil capitalist system and the country that gave it birth.

**Western** Washington and Oregon are both beautiful states. The east side (of the Rockies) of both is dry hot flat sparely forested grain corn and cattle growing conservative

We work every single day to build (when we're not destroying)...
...a community that enjoys economic prosperity, (wherever we decide to permit it)...
...a healthy environment, (except in areas which we cede to rioters and addicts)...
...affordable homes, (which are lately becoming more affordable)...
...and a safe place to live and thrive. (if you're a communist)

Portland and Seattle sadly rule the states...they count the votes last and can quickly add provisional votes or that box of ballots in rat commissioners back seat as needed...
