It undermines the guy who posted the video with that title. Put in the right and true context it is damaging to Biden. I’m sure the video exists without all that person’s editing, and I’m sure we’ll be seeing clips of the speech again in campaign ads.

Lying about our opponent will only undermine our own candidate in the long run. A lie against Biden won't withstand the fawning media committed to defending him at any cost. Biden has made so many cringe inducing, racial offensive blunders in his other speeches that it is stupid to lie about him being racist in one of the few speeches where he actually wasn't.

Honestly Joe Biden seemed to make sense in what he was saying back then. I was only 14 when this video was taken but he seemed to be a lot better then most Dems. He stood up for Clarence Thomas also. He sold his soul to the leftists to get promoted the way he was the past 13 years
Our side is never going to win by accepting the PC left's game and ground rules. Yet that's exactly what Republicans who play the PC card and childishly say "Nuh-uh, YOU'RE the racist!" are doing. If you accept the premise that saying politically incorrect things is something terrible, then you've already let the Left win by accepting their ground rules and their game.
There are plenty of things to hate and criticize about Biden, this or his alleged friendships with Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms aren't one of them. Biden needs to be attacked for his steady leftward march rather than for the handful of sensible things that he did and said back when he was a semi-sane moderate.
