I’ve looked just recently for a listing of top TV themes ...by actual charting.
Not so easy to find actual chart-topper lists. It’s mostly opinion which is totally bogus and useless most of the time.

Much as I like it, Golden Girls took the song from a guy, already released. Not sure it ever charted but it played a lot on some of the easy-listen or AM stations prior to GG.
