The irony is the video shows the owner wearing a mask with a one-way check valve designed to open when you exhale. So by design, his mask projects his breath into the open.

More mask theater.

More mask theater.

That may be true.

But this thread is a case study in a very odd development brought about via COVID19...the unmasking (no pun intended) of liberal tendencies amongst alleged conservatives.

I totally get the skepticism around the medicinal value of many masks, the annoyance at state-sanctioned scareporn like the Fauci show, the lies of the WHO, public officials chastising lockdown protesters in Michigan but championing mayhem in Minneapolis.

I also get that the left has a vested interest in fanning the COVID19 flames, in destroying the economy, and keeping us all in lockdown so write-in balloting can usher in the Biden presidency.

But it is astounding, to read and see posts from allegedly freedom-loving people who champion the rule of law and private property and bemoan rioters who destroy property etc, who basically say that it is their God-given right to trample the requirements of business owners and not mask-up while in their store. It's even worse when these alleged conservatives take it upon themselves to become antimask evangelists and decide to use private property as a place for their soapbox.

If you don't like the weather, move. If you don't want to wear a mask in a deli and the owner requires a mask, then DON'T GO TO THAT DELI. Otherwise, please join your philosophical cousins in the mob that tell cake makers who they can and can't serve.
