President Donald Trump on Tuesday held a Rose Garden event under the guise of punishing China over its crackdown on Hong Kong, delivering a lengthy diatribe against Democratic rival Joe Biden in a display that resembled a campaign speech at the White House.
The president began his rambling 54-minute opening statement by announcing that he had signed congressional legislation that authorizes his administration to enact sanctions on banks that do business with Chinese officials and an executive order to revoke Hong Kong's special economic trading status. But he glossed over the specifics and said nothing about the pro-democracy protests on the island as he pivoted swiftly to his attacks on Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.
Trump lambasted Biden's record on Beijing, casting the former vice president and longtime senator from Delaware as soft on China during its rise to become the second-largest economy in the world. He faulted Biden for initially opposing his administration's decision to shut down some flights from China over the coronavirus, and he inaccurately stated that Biden "sided with China" on its handling of the pandemic - even though Biden had sounded alarms months ago as Trump was still praising Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Golly. It’s hard to tell from this oh-so-very objective “news” article, but I sort of think that the Washington Post likes Joe Biden more than President Trump. That’s just a hunch I have.
Well, this reporter said he was rambling, si I guess trump’s message was lost on them... no surprise.
And so? SlowJoe uses his basement briefings to attack Trump nonstop.
I thought is was great. Biden was VP for 8 years and did nothing for roads and bridges. ....lol. Trump is the best.

Listened to NPR on the radio this morning in the car. They are treating this press conference like Trump has lost his marbles, using words like “bizarre” and “unhinged.” They said he read off a list of “unsubstantiated” accusations against Biden. That one made me laugh, since everything they have reported against Trump has come from anonymous, unsubstantiated sources.
It was an attack on biden’s proposed policies. Actually, they’re not HIS policies. His agenda is being built for him. It is radical hard left. It includes completely open borders with full welfare for anyone who comes to the country illegally, from day one.
Of course, Trump “rambles,” but Biden... noooooo... he’s the pinnacle of rational common sense.
The media is the REAL enemy of our country.
It wasn't a press conference, it was the rally he couldn't give this past weekend. Except that instead of giving it before an enthusiastic crowd of supports, he gave it to a hostile media crowd who have been mocking him for it ever since.
They said he read off a list of “unsubstantiated” accusations against Biden.

That’s why he was reading THEIR WORDS from THEIR OFFICIAL PLATFORM.
And the press STILL calls it “unsubstantiated” because they can lie and get away with it.
I call it the Pravda media. Everything they say or focus on they do solely to push communism.
The media brought it on themselves. They won’t give him fair coverage. They don’t cover his major speeches. Instead they run with gotcha headlines all the while giving Biden full coverage and unwarranted praise. If he has to hold press conferences and go directly to the people, so be it.
This was one of Trump’s best press conferences. He spent an hour telling the media about the vast difference between he and Biden.

It was funny as heck. He held his enemies hostage in the sweltering heat while he gave them a MAGA rally.
He did not merely tell the difference between him and Biden. There was no derivative discussion.
The President cited a primary first source reference
He read verbatim the democrat platform that was a list of the actual marxist intentions to turn America into a Euroclone.
So do they believe that we the people don’t have a right to hear information that would help them make a decision on who they will vote for? Because that’s what the system is, information regarding the opposing party/candidate that could impact their vote. Just an hour or so prior to Trumps presser, Joe Biden’s speech excoriated and lied about Donald Trump, didn’t take questions either.
