Yes, this was noticed early on. 619 children among 3.3 million U.S. cases, and no transmission from children to others. It’s all about the portal, a receptor called ACE2 receptor. Kids don’t have it or don’t have enough of them for the virus to get in and replicate. The question is how to screen out the few vulnerable children.
Children are born and bred to deal with all matter of viruses and such. They are your prime movers towards immunity.
Why can't we think strategically and figure out how to close all the public schools permanently? How about education vouchers which go to all parents of school-age children, to be used for whatever ed program the parents choose, including private, parochial, tutoring, parents' ed co-ops and home schooling?
Oh, I'm OK with the public school *buildings* staying up, --- passing into the ownership and management of private education vendors --- as long as the public school *system* is gone for good.
If COVID-19 led to that it would be wonderful.
The A-holes of the Los Angeles School District teachers’ union just voted to keep schools closed, unless the police are defunded and charter schools are closed.
