The guard shot the customer as he was walking away..
A California security guard was charged with murder Wednesday after prosecutors say he shot a 50-year-old man at a supermarket because he was not wearing a mask.
The incident occurred at the Gardena market in South California on Sunday, when the customer, Jerry Lewis, reportedly entered the store without a mask and got into an argument with the guard, Umeir Hawkins.

Hawkins and his wife Sabrina Carter were each charged with one count of possession of a handgun by a felon, stemming from a prior conviction in 2013 for assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, according to a press release by the Los Angeles County District Attorneys Office.

I was a security guard/ seat-finder at a posh concert auditorium for one evening. I wanted to shoot myself.
Brilliant! Lol!!!
Generally the regulations created by the act have a balance between the individual's privacy and the public accommodation''s need to know the information. They can ask for minimal specific information in the cases I see (e.g. seating accomodation or service animals).

lots of stores have security guards here in So Cal.
Black on black -— neither the MSM nor the liberals care.

They can inquire only to the point of asking if I have a medical condition. I am not required to tell them more than I have a medical condition that prohibits me from wearing a mask.
They cannot require a “note from my doctor” and can not inhibit me from using the facilities or shopping in that store.
AND I do not have to tell them one thing more.
would think that asian grocery store Green Farm Market is in for a lawsuit royale given that their security guard was an illegally armed felon who murdered a customer for no good reason ...
Ive seen them late night at the supermarkets in the sketchy parts of town. Theyre usually the stores last step before closing and making the neighborhood a food desert.
OH COME ON NOW; this is California, they will be tried, convicted and set FREE because of COVID.
You ask, I answer.
Yah, I feel safe. The news you get about California
treats us like we are monolithic so I get the question.
I reside in the Sierra Nevada foothills of NorCal.
Like 4.5 million other Californians I voted for
Trump in ‘16 and intend to do likewise this November.
I own two 12ga shotguns, a 30.06 rifle and a Colt .32
semi auto handgun. This past Fall I purchased a
raffle ticket at a fund raiser for the local HS
FFA chapter. The prizes were depicted in a 2020
calendar. Each of the 12 prizes represented a month.
They were all firearms. I won the January prize
which was a SIG Sauer 238, a sweet little number.
I had to take a test and wait 2 wks to pick up my
sidearm along w/one box of target ammo and one
box of hollow points. By now I would have liked to
have test fired it at the rifle/pistol, trap, and
5 star archery club I belong to (BTW General
Chuck Yeager has belonged to the same club since ‘82),
Unfortunately this COVID crap has cramped our style
and we’re just able to have drinks at our full
service club bar until further notice.
But, yes I am sane and I do feel safe. Thank you.
I used to live in a small town in New Jersey. (I was new there, grew up in Midwest suburbia).
The town in New Jersey had a section in the local paper about the various crimes. I cut one of them out and carried it in my wallet for years. Went something like this:
August 2, 1986. Officer Hank Meyers responded to a 911 call from the A&P [grocery store] Monday late afternoon after a disturbance erupted over a shopper having too many items in the “Under 12 items” checkout counter. No arrests were made.
This is the type person that’s gonna represent the police dept after the current cops say “I don’t need this $hit” and quit.
Here in Ca it’s a status symbol to own a felon.
What a tragedy.
I don’t wear a mask in my car, and the victim probably had no initial intention of going to the store, but did for emergency supplies for his busted tires. So I don’t blame him for not having a mask. Now he is dead.
I don’t blame the woman for pulling a gun and defusing the situation and stopping the fight. She will now face three years in jail.
The man had turned his life around, from a felon to a security guard (incredible that he passed the FBI test required to apply for a guard card). Its a tragedy he could not contain his anger (probably the reason he was a felon in the first place) and shot a man as he walked away. Now he faces life in jail.
Just horrible.
But in general I think a man or a woman has a god-given right to defend himself and that laws taking away guns for felons should have an exception when they are defending their own life or that of another.
I think the woman should be acquitted.
A prominent Alaska psychiatrist faces a criminal charge for punching a man in the face for not wearing a face mask in a Juneau grocery store.

Just read that Walmart is going to require masks for customers after July 20th.
Democrats, like Bill Maher, told us how much they crave an economic collapse as a way to get rid of Trump like the fake Russia - Mueller witch hunt.. then, the Shifty impeachment attempt.
Amen!
