Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogans decision Friday to convert Hagia Sophia, the foremost cathedral in Christendom for nearly 1,000 years, to a mosque has been condemned the world over, but it has also garnered applause from at least one Christian theologian, the liberal Anglican Giles Fraser, who joins the multitudes of other Christian leaders who believe that appeasement and self-abnegation, even unto utter self-destruction, is the way forward for the Church.

So if I were to go up to ol’ Giles and, say, give him a dope slap, he'd consider it appeasement and self-abnegation instead of assault?
He'd best not show up by me, then.
Spread the other cheeks?
...”liberal Anglican”
All I needed to know.
This guy is an enemy of Christianity. If he understood who Allah really was he would not being saying things like this.
Seriously? How does that work?
He thinks a mosque is a place to praise the Lord?
Every mosque is an affront to heaven and the doctrines proclaimed within them are the doctrines of demons.
If it wasn’t for Anglicans in Africa (may the Lord bless them!) “liberal Anglican” would almost be a redundancy.
Imbecile.
Servant of the devil.
Anglicans are no longer Christian.
Why are so many Christians quislings at heart?
From 2000 to 2009, he was the Team Rector of St Mary's Putney, where he campaigned to raise the profile of the Putney Debates (1647).[14] Fraser was the founder of Inclusive Church and campaigns for lesbian and gay inclusion within the church. He was voted Stonewall Hero of the Year in 2012.[15]
In October 2011, Occupy London based their protest outside St Paul's Cathedral. Fraser said that he was happy for people to "exercise their right to protest peacefully" outside the cathedral.[16] Fraser resigned as he could not sanction any policy of the chapter of St Paul's to use force to remove the protesters.[17] Fraser has said that it was "a huge matter of regret to leave" St Paul's. "But not for one moment have I thought that I did the wrong thing".[18]
Now the muslims will have another facility for planning to lie, cheat, steal and kill the Infidel as written in 68 passages in the Quoran.
Not even the African Anglicans?
Every single Christian on earth should be appalled that the Turks could take over one of the jewels of Christianity. They will probably cover up the Christians icons or else paint over them, after 1500 years. One of the most iconic images of Christ is in that great place. It is one of the most impressive buildings in history. Shame on them.
That son of a bitch Erdogan doesn’t care.
Guess I was referring mainly to English.
I just another reason I am glad that I am no longer an Episcopalian and a member of the Anglican Communion.
A theologian maybe, but definitely not a Christian theologian.
Probably GAY!
