It could also be a sort of regime internal coup.
The Iranian government, or a faction of it, may be drawing the teeth of a leaderless Revolutionary Guard faction (post Suleimani). An RGC without strategic capability may find it more difficult to make an argument for its continued existence, or at least its status.
This would explain the large number and tight timing of all this, if all these formerly well defended installations, are no longer well secured. These explosions and etc. might be organized demolitions of things that are no longer useful. And the more that are destroyed the more the RGC or its allied factions lose credibility and morale.
And maybe the Israelis are also involved or in the loop. Or maybe the Russians are tacitly cutting off people who are no longer convenient. And it may have to do with a larger context - the development of the Syrian-Libyan civil wars. And in light of that, which has turned into a Turko-Russian struggle, which may involve Iranian factions...
These things are often extremely complex.
