I am beginning to think not Mossad but revolution.
This is clearly a provocation by Israel to gode the Iranians to overtly strike. When they do Israel with its F-35s, stealthy drones and missiles, cyberwarfare and on the ground Mossad action will destroy the mullah regime. Netanyahu realizes his long term in power is coming to an end. He intends to eliminate this very real existential threat to Israel and the Jewish people before he leaves office.
Is that eight of them now? Allah is showing his displeasure with the mullahs?

Revolution could come of it but the revolutionaries don’t have the resources to begin their activity with this.
