About a month ago Israel suffered an embarrassing attack on its infrastructure for which Iran took credit. In response, the series of attacks which began in the oilfields of Khuzistan just may be a plan that Israel has had on the books for some time and was waiting for the right moment to carry out. With the Iranian currency in free-fall, with unemployment reaching dangerous levels, with oil exports falling, with the mullahs and the parliament in disagreement, and with the government making nice with China to save its bacon, it could well be that we are witnessing an Israeli plan that is coming together.
