Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff said if Senate Republicans had voted to convict and remove President Donald Trump during his impeachment, 130,000 Americans would not have died of the coronavirus.

It’s funny, I recall the impeachment t vote was a few days after the Senate was briefed on the virus. At the time we were discussing that if they shut down impeachment quickly, it would be a sign that this was bad.

The folks in the Senate realized “play time” was over.

Trump set up his CV task force and established the China travel restrictions (opposed by most Democrats as "xenophobic" and "racist") when the Dems were still obsessed with impeachment and NOTHING else.

We will never know for sure, but with pro-China Hillary as president, the country's CV response might have been a little slower, not faster. Even if it had been the same or slightly better, we would still be seeing a similar death total.
