I agree with you. Something is amiss. Jourdanton is much closer to San Antonio.

Because I could not find the statistic I wanted, I had to crunch the numbers myself. A randomly selected police officer is 29 times more likely to be murdered by a black criminal than a randomly selected unarmed black is to be killed by a cop. Unarmed does not necessarily mean harmless. Michael Brown got shot trying to wrestle away an officers gun.

Jourdanton is probably 200 miles from McAllen. I think something is garbled in this report.Jourdanton is a lot closer to San Antonio than the border.
