I greatly value and respect Dennis P’s thoughtful approach. But we aren’t going to control the leftists with reason, and I’m sure Dennis knows that.
We’re in big trouble because the Democrat mayors and governors are as bat shot crazy as the rioters, and so are half the republican “leaders”.
It’s an issue of supply and demand. There is greater demand for racism than there is of supply. Therefore, substitutes are necessary. Simple economics, really.
If something like placing a noose is such a horrible crime, then the hoaxers should be first punished to the same extent as would someone with malicious intent. In many ways, a hoax is more malicious.
Following that level of punishment (summary firing, expulsions, total destruction of reputation, permanent shame), a separate punishment should accrue for the hoax.
Punish for the act, punish for the hoax.
The reason there are so many racist hoaxes is because there IS racism, it’s just that the fake victims are the racists - not the people they’re trying trying to falsely accuse.
America is so racist that “hate” crimes have to be made up.
If America is so racist, why are there still blacks? Whites certainly had the means to wipe out all blacks.
If blacks could wipe out all white men, there wouldn’t be any white men. They are the racists.

Policies like affirmative action and quotas could NEVER meet legal scrutiny, yet the “perpetual victims” are determined to keep them enshrined in law. The reparations we’ve been paying since the “Great Society” have accomplished nothing except preventing them from growing into mature citizens, and they know today many have no hope competing - not just with “white America”, but with incoming foreigners with little education.
As an outsider this racism thing is perceived in Russia as a farce. A Brit even told me that referring to black people as “black” was racist, but didn’t come up with a substitute. So, turns out, there are black people, bit there is no word for them.
Race hoaxes are racism. Anti-white to the core.
Because a lie will be halfway around the globe before the truth has put it’s pants on.

If America were systemically racist, we never would have heard of George Floyd as his death would have been a daily occurrence.

Did we ever learn if the Althea Bernstein incident turned out to be a hoax? She is the woman in Madison, Wisconsin who claims that four white frat boy types sprayed lighter fluid on her through her car window, then threw a lighter into her car and set her on fire. The same night this supposedly happened, arson was committed in Madison during a BLM riot that she attended.
Nooses? Yeah, they have a use. Each holding cell should be equipped with one, and a step-stool. The criminal then has a CHOICE. That’s the RAT party gold standard!
