Colin Kaepernick took to Twitter on Independence Day to deliver a strong rebuke to the celebration of the nation’s founding.
According to Kaepernick, America has “dehumanized, brutalized, criminalized + terrorized” blacks for centuries. He further called the celebrations commemorating the nation’s founding a “celebration of white supremacy.”

Kaepernick, the NFL’s original anthem protester, has not played in the NFL since the end of the 2016 season. After a long legal battle with the NFL, in which he accused the league of “blackballing” him and fellow protester Eric Reid, the NFL eventually settled the suit with Kaepernick. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recently apologized for not listening to Kaepernick and other protesters. He then went so far as to say he would “encourage” a team to sign Kaepernick.
For some time after he began his protests, Kaepernick’s supporters inn the media claimed that his movement was not intended as disrespect to America or the flag. Though, in light of his determined effort to get his sponsor, Nike, to stop distribution of their Betsy Ross Flag sneakers on the 4th of July in 2019.
And, of course, his strident condemnation of America in his tweet today, those claims are not and never have been supportable.

He is alive because his white mother did not abort him and because his white adoptive parents cared for him.
Some adopted kids rage against the world because they only see that the birth parent rejected them, not that others cared for them and loved them.
Not all adopted kids, of course. Steve Jobst comes to mind as being openly thankful to his adopted parents.

It’s not white supremacy he’s objecting to. It’s white majority he wants to eliminate.
He’s half white/half middle eastern. How exactly would that work? He should take his millions and move to africa. He won’t though, he has it too good here.
And if he got that, he’d want to go after the remaining white minority next.
Inquiries should be made of African countries willing to accept Colin Kaepernick as a new citizen. I bet a bunch of them would be more than happy to take such an unhappy person, and he would no longer have to put up with “white supremacy”.
But from the moment they offer, every time he opens his yap, he should be asked when he plans to surrender his US citizenship.

His adopted white parents fed,clothed, and loved him and this filth he vomits up must really make them proud. Why doesn’t he just take his millions from trying to play quarterback and go to Wakanda or even Cuba. Viva la revolution, dummy.
